The decals on CSX3002's coachwork while still at AC were TimkenŽ bearing advertisements. The decals were very similar to the logo on the face of service part packages in the mid 1960s. (As covered on the SAAC forum a few years ago.)

Tis website has my painting.I will have to resurrect it if anyone wants a canvas
Wallace Wyss Artwork
Unfortunately lost ref. photo long ago so I can't see if
it had an extra cooler below the grille mouth as in the tight shot. But I do remember it was a photo from England while the car was being tested.
Note it was painted in 2009 and now it's 2025--some subjects on ClubCobra move in slow motion...
all the best,

Wait,...
...that's not we talked about last night, Tom!
He's conflicted, as you might guess. It was his baby!
Give him some room, be patient, keep calling him and talking about it, but not to get him re-excited about it. Probably he will come around. Remind him that the car has been languishing for a long time, and it is only losing value sitting there collecting dust, which is not good for him. This is a hard thing for him to do!

Correct Paul, as of Jan. 28 5:48pm, the last email was "Come and get it, if you want it" by 11:23 am Jan. 29, it was "you know I'm still undecided about sell it"
We've emailed back and forth since then, I told him exactly that, it's tough to sell something, you'd built & care for these 25years, built the car from what ERA sent him (Spoke to John, he bought it as a kit), knows every nut & bolt, and the only reason for selling is his body gave up before he was ready. Sometime are bodies being our worst enemy.
We left it, when you're (Really) ready then we'll talk, I truly respect him, and understand his issues, if it came down to one of us, we know how it would feel.
I'm just taking a step back, I have other things I've let go, spend the last month on this, time to get back to Ramco, and getting the silver car ready for this year's driving season, if it happens, it happens
It's so nice talking to you these last couple weeks, I respect your opinions, and between you, Bill S. Tim, Tom, Brent, Scotty, Dave, and Bruce, I have a great support staff
I'll keep everybody in the loop, Cheers TommyRot

Patience my friend, if it is meant to be, it will happen. If not, I've got a certain 65 Sunbeam Tiger in your same general price range that I may be putting up for sale.....
