Connecticut/RI/Mass Circle Racing Fans
OK Kids:
This week (August 12th - 14th) there is lots of racing going on in our fair state. Connecticut is lucky to have three circle tracks and a fine road course (LimeRock). More of us should take advantage before they're gone.
Thursday, Thompson is hosting the Whelen Modified Tour. This is circle racing at its best. On Friday Stafford Springs is running two 40 lap SK Modified events. Also on Friday Waterford Speedbowl is running their 100 foot drag night. This is a freebie for spectators and $20 for racers. On Saturday night Waterford in hosting the SuperModifieds as well as the NEMA Midgets. The Supermodifieds are nuts? In addition to these two very fast groups "The Speedbowl" is also hosting the Modified Series (Truevalue Modifieds). If you like fast circle racing be at the bowl Saturday night.
All of these events are very affordable, especially for the kids.
