Default All CT and Nearby Cobra Owners for 1 more ride

Jay/Bryan you too.

My wife and I just came back from an awsome ride from the North Haven Area to East Haddam (Gilette Castle) to Mohegan Son via back roads then to NewPort RI for a look at the mansions, then to Mysic CT at the Equinox Diner for some Dinner. This was beautiful. A little chily on the way home. An approx 275 mile ride round trip.

I would love to do 1 more last ride with our cobra friends before it gets too cold and we store the cars for the winter with a partial route.

I say we take a ride from a central location, to 91 to 66 to rt 9 into east haddem to Gillette Castle then to Mohegan via back roads and then perhaps to Mystic at the EQuinox Diner. good food good prices there. A nice loop. Will take approx 2--3 hours or so depending on stops.

Let me know of any interest. I then can map out the back road routes. Nice Farm Land Out There. This would be the same route that we took to kick off the season back in may.
Thanks GARY

Saw you behind the opera house, but you left before I could walk over. I was putting my kayak in. This time of year it is hard to decide whether to paddle or drive. Hope the speed bump didn't get you.

I'm totally game, the foliage should be great then. According to this chart

Don't know what the weather has in store but if the ride holds until Halloween weekend, Wend and I are in for the 30th/31st. Did a great run this past weekend up to Sylvesters in North Hampton, MA for breakfeast. THE BEST pancakes you'll ever have!

Is there any interest in doing something Saturday? How about up I91, down Route 9, back on Route 80 (or counter clockwise)? A nice top gear ride with lunch somewhere along the way? Few stop signs, few lights, minimal shifting and smooth road all the time!

The weather forecast for sat is not as favorable. Sun looks sunny and clear about 62 degree at this time. And the fall foliage on this route is very pretty. Vert little stop signs from gillette castle to Mohegan. from the castle Mohegan sun is only about 35-40 min of nice foliaged roads farms and nice scenery..

There is also a car show in New Rochelle NY this sunday. If interested in riding to this i'd have to get further details.

We will be staying in East Lime, CT over the Halloween weekend and are going to visit ERA on monday with our car ERA EXP002. How will the weather be that time of year? Hopefully it will be nice enough to do a little sight seeing.
