Yep... scratch one Cobra and add one GT40! I am hoping to make it if I am able to get done with DMV! With or without, I will be there!
Hope we will see Bob with 4007 sometime... He put together one heck of a GT40!

The 14th is bad for me. We're having a yard sale to clear out some crap. UH, I mean fine merchandise. Sunday the 15th anyone?

NHMS Vintage Days next week
Hey Lads, might it be advisable to delay the breakfast by one week to align with the vintage days next week? Certainly was fun last year... If you happen to find one of the flyers kicking around take note of the particularly handsome red cobra in front ...now sadly, also missing.
Congrats Dave on your new toy! and good luck in catching Karl

I agree with Peter, vintage car event was way cool (especially the procession from Windmill to the track), besides it seems there are a number of conflicted members.

Why I sold the cobras...
Will Peter still be allowed for Breakfast ...in a miata???
OK, my reason may not be as exciting as Dave's motorheads, but here is where my money and time has gone the for last three years. The hiking is great and the dock is now in for the season. Bring the tent, fishing poles, canoes, and mountain bikes. An especially good spot for the kids! All of my Windmill friends are welcome to take advantage of my good fortune anytime you wish. If you look very carefully at the mountain top shot, you can see Nick waving from the shore od Squam Lake... What's that Nick? Oh, ok. He says he'll bring the beer

Next week is good for me too! Providing of course you guys don't mind a GT40in the parade! Hope the weather is not as bad as the 10 day forcast is indicating!
Took me all of 18 minutes to register the GT this moring, ten of that was trying to figure out the '66 MSRP and the weight. Of course... ran home, bolted on the plate and went for my maiden drive. The car is amazing, runs awesome, sounds even beter! I put about 20 miles on it, down the highway and through some back roads. Twitchy with the Hoosiers over bumps but not near as bad as I recall the goodyears on the Cobra. Hey, it is a GT40!
Bob, if you are reading.... you put together an awesome car! LOVE IT!!!

Next weekend works for me. Drove the Cobra to Lake Placid, NY yesterday and I believe I have an alignment problem!! Going to be in the shop tomorrow to fix it.
Last weekend I went for a ride in my Cobra while my 16 year old son drove it for the first time. He has been beside me working on cars since he was 4. Now he can drive them. Time flies. But, what a great way to build a relationship with him. Take care, John

There is a breakfast next Saturday that a bunch of the Mass guys are attending. But the vintage weekend at Loudon has been a good draw in the past. Are you guys still planning on Saturday for next weekend. And of course a big "second" on a Nashua breakfast sometime son. It would be well attended.

Yup breakfast at the Windmill 9 a.m. with a convoy to the Vintage Races at NHMS afterwards for whoever wishes to partake. We'll go for the Denny's breakfast for next month to catch up with our more Southern Cobra brothers..

Nick... are you going to do the trek over to NHMS? Who else is planning to go?
Planning on taking the GT40 tomorrow provided I can get an ispection sticker in the morning. Have a 7:00AM appt! Karl will most likely ride with me. Then the afternoon back to his place to work on his new TKO.
