MA. Sticker help

Anybody from MA. with this issue:
I own CSX 4857 with CSX 1074 engine. Car is registered per the state requirement as a 2009 Shelby Replica. While getting an inspection sticker, the machine was looking for emissions which, of course, are non-existent on this car.
The state is now telling me I will not be able to get an inspection? I cannot be the only one in this state that has run across this problem. Help!

go to FFcars forum...tons of info...you had until April 2012 to register the car and grandfather it for no emissions...now there is a process where you buy an old car (needs to be simular displacement) get it scraped take the title to the registry/MAC center and they enter into the system that you did a clunker swap...not a fun process...but can be done

Did you receive a rejection sticker? Call the MAC phone number? It is a long process, but the window may be already closed for it to be quick. Is it the state or the inspection station telling you that? I think that you would be okay if you have an engine with the correct serial number for the year of pre emissions. I was able to get the over ride from MAC two years ago. Year of engine determined year of car on my registration 2007. PM if more questions. Good Luck

Your motor has a C5 (65) casting number on it I believe, I don't know if that's any help for the cause.
