June 1st Charity Event

A local charity down in westbrook is holding their 2nd annual Bike ride and car show on June 1st and would love to get a group to join. Its for CDLK5, CDLK5 is a rare X-linked genetic disorder that results in early onset, difficult to control seizures, and severe neuro-developmental impairment. The event is hosted by Team Avery and Bills Seafood and they asked for some help in getting cars.

Last year was a tough year for them and only had a handful of cars that showed up but plenty of bikes. The event is nothing to special, great food (10 bucks all you can eat) and some live bands.

I was thinking of meeting early morning grab some breakfast make a nice cruise over to the show for a couple of hours then cruise over to clinton to the vineyard.

You will be helping a great cause!

Count my wife and me in from up here in Farmington. Glad to join in and help. Hopefully we'll have some good cruising in before then also, so let me know if you want to get out and burn some fuel.

I should be ready to cruise by the end of the week, I just have to put the tunnel and seats back in. We will be away next two weekends though but lets plan a cruise on the weekend of the 17th.

Jay That's the only bad weekend we have. Youngest son is getting married, so we kinda HAVE to show up! LOL Tried to work the cars into the wedding, but no luck. I'l keep looking here and we'll figure it out. Keep bumping thre thread so we might get some more cars too. Thanks, Murray

Murray enjoy your sons wedding ours was last summer but we had both our cars in it i am sure you saw the pics i posted but here is short clip from it. The cars made the wedding!!

Just wanted to see if anyone wants to meet up if your are able to hit the show. I know of at least 10 other shows in the state so I understand if you head to a different one.
