The tax value in 2014 was $1,130, the 2015 tax value is $22,750. I do not recall receiving any notice regarding the increased assessment.
Anyone else experience an increase for 2015 ?
Is there a CT State Tax Assessors standard for valuing Composite vehicles or does each Town Tax Assessor use their own standards ?
....thanks

That is crazy. I would call your tax assessor immediately to find out what happened!
I would also go re-register the car as the year it represents(per CT law). Then you will pay your taxes on a flat rate of 500.00(assessment). I am paying 13.00 and registered as a 1965 compo.
If you don't do anything at all you will get the automatic 500.00 assessment when the vehicle is 20 years old, for you that will be 2020. My Harley will be hitting that mark for this year Oct grand list. According to my town it will be automatic. I will be looking when I get the bill next July. Per the assessor...If it has not changed automatically I will bring my reg to the assessor and it will be changed
