Cobras in Mystic and Misquamicut
Hey Guys:
The wife and I took a drive to Misquamicut today (9-6-03) via Mystic, Stonington, Wequetequoek, Pawcatuck and Weekapaug (love those indian names). Saw a blue Cobra with white stripes in Westerly and a solid silver Cobra going through Mystic. If you were the lucky persons in those cars please respond.
Just to let the rest of you Connecticut guys know the air was cool and dry and the sun was bright. Routes 95 and 1 had light traffic and lots of scenery. Lunch was in Mystic at some outdoor restaurant. A Coke on the table, a lobster roll in my hand and a crowd of people going nuts over our SPF, can it get any better? You should have joined us.

Did you eat at the Cove Fish Market? That's been one of our favorites for about 25 years. We return to the area every year in July to visit a relative in CT and attend a conference in Falmouth MA. While we're in CT we eat seafood at the Cove or Abbott's most evenings, then go to the ice cream shop next to the drawbridge in Mystic or to St. Clair's Annex in Watch Hill for ice cream. Perhaps we'll see you there next July!

I May Be Joinin' Ya Soon Bob!
Hey Bob!
I may be joinin' ya soon on the CT roads. A 427 SC is in the future for me and if all goes well then I and my better half will be joining you on the byways.
Goin to go look at the car this weekend. BTW, who do you use for insurance here in CT. We talked about this up at Lyme Rock but with so many really nice cars up there my mind was swimming.

Hey Lowell:
It was the place across from the VFW on old Route 1. Picnic tables and a big parking area.
