Default Lunch at Lime Rock - 10-25-03

Is anyone out there interested in getting together at Lime Rock this Saturday for lunch? I think the BMW club has the track. The weather is supposed to be sunny. This could be a last chance weekend to do a ride. The foliage may present some good photo ops.. Clocks go back on Saturday night.

Is there some regulation or something that I am unaware of that prohibits the driving of Cobras on trips of more than 10 miles?

No windshield, no mufflers, slicks, 3" ground clearance, 8gallon cell with 110 cam2, and I don't want to visit a track with out driving on it. Besides, BMW's fall off the track too often (usually over-enthusiastic drivers), and it hurts to watch all those $ getting creamed.

Good points McFEz,
Only two reasons to visit racetracks.
1.Drive car very fast on track.
2. Watch Pros drive fast on track. REAL pros , Nascar, Cart, IRL, or F1 if you also wanna look at great looking women.

Option #1
A visit to Club Cranky at any track is a worthwhile visit.

Thanks for asking Bob, I would like to see Lime Rock, but my car is in storage until spring. Do you ever run the spf at other club events?

Rick
