Spring, Frank Marratta's Car Show
Hi All!
Just thought I would remind you all that spring is coming. This will be the first year with my cobra. I can't tell you all how slow the clock is moving toward better weather.
The threads have been few and far between, so I thought just mention that good weather is coming.
Stuart

Hi Stuart
Agreed, heard from the relatives in Florida, they had to turn the ceiling fans up from low to medium.........Spring is coming
While waiting and your looking for something different, try the Corvette Museum in Springfield VT. It's free and there is a restored 50's diner in front of the museum. Been there a few times for their car shows etc., worth the trip. The web site has the 2004 schedule.

Hi Stu and Don:
Yesss..... just digging out from under 8" of new wet snow here today. The path from the barn (where Half Full sleeps) to the street is fully obstructed now with boucoups amounts of white stuff.
Ahhh... Just close your eye and think of April. Its just 70 some odd days away... Darn... February has 29 days this year....
We never get a break!
Hey, why don't we all meet up with our daily drivers, at the upcoming Frank Maratta's car show a the CT Expo Center on Saturday, Jan 31st?
What say Ye?

HAY!
That may be a idea. A guy I know is entering a FFR he just build. You can see it in my pics. (The one with no body on it) He won it last years. It is being painted now, Blue and white. Let me know!

I think that I will go up there on Saturday Morning. What do you say we all meet up there at 11AM and wait in line and shiver together?
Is that a plan or what?
The problem will be to find each other...

Art
Sounds good to me Art. I will probably have a cobra shirt or hat on. I will be with my better-half. Will let you know more, closer to show time.
Keep me informed.
Thanks
Stuart

Art and Don and all New England Cobra Owners
Frank Maratta's show coming up!
I was able to speak with the builder of that FFR. He believes that his display will be right inside the main entrance to the show. We could all meet there at 11AM, in sted of standing in line, freezing. I will know for sure on Thursday night, when he brings the car down to the show.
The FFR is a deep blue with white stripes.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
Stuart

It has now been 4 weeks since the old SPF has been out of the garage. Will this weather ever end? I hope that when the decent weather does return that some of you Cobra guys will put a few miles on your cars instead of sitting next to them at some cruise night.

I'd flip cheeseburgers and live in a cardboard box before I'd give up my Cobra and not have the privilege to drive it 12 months a year. You Northeast guys are hard core....

Thanks Red, we really needed that.
Bob, lets get some nice trips planned. Recently, I went up route 8 to visit a friend. We took an exit and followed a route eastward that was just about as close to a roller coaster as you can get. Wide turns, lots of ups and downs, some needing you to clear your ears 2 times, all thru the farmland. The route number now escapes me but it was just nice. My other half said.. "we have to do this in the Cobra for sure".

Hi cobra dudes
The Marratta show it this weekend. We are going down on Saturday the 31st. The FFR I talked about is not going to be entered. It will not be finnshed being painted in time. They are entering a classic black Pick-up. Don't know the details. If you guys want to meet up, let me know time and place. Hope to meet you.
Stuart
