Default Mystic Outdoor Art Festival - August 14, 15

Hello All:
This weekend the town of Mystic will host their 47th annual outdoor art festival. Is anyone out there interested in taking a run down on Sunday. It would be fun to just cruise through the middle of downtown Mystic in front of thousands of onlookers.

We could do lunch in Mystic (crab cakes at a picnic table) or stop at the Penny Lane Pub (outdoor dining with good parking) in Saybrook (I think) for a cool beverage and/or eats on the way home.

Let me know, and remember summer is quickly leaving town.

Bob

Looks like Tropical storm Charley has changed everyones plans this weekend. Looks like we did not get nearly as much rain as predicted. It is amazing how wrong the weather service can be. In medicine if we were wrong that often they would take our license away.

Stu:
Why take your license away?? They would take your ability to insure yourself away well before that... probably.

In baseball if you get a hit 3 out of 10 times at the plate you are doing great!

Yah, the weather has been less than good recently with all that tropical ooze finding its way up North.

Bob,

You are right on about the insurance thing. With only one insurer in the state of CT and with premiums going through the roof, we will soon see a large exodus from this state.

Unfortunately, this summer has passed way to quick and for the most part, I would say weather-wise it has been a bust. Looking forward to and hoping the weather is good for LRP Vintage weekend.

Yes Stu! I will see you up at Lime Rock Park on Sunday for the car show. The goal will be to park trackside, like last year in the Esses area at the end of the straight-away. I will probably leave home on Sunday at about 8 AM and drive up there.

Lets hope the weather is good!
