Default Sunday Run (7-3) to Cove Fish Market in Mystic

According to every forcast I've seen the weather for Sunday here in Connecticut is supposed to be terrific, sunny, dry & mid 80s. The wife and I are planning our annual run down the shore to the Cove Fish Market just outside of Mystic (Route 1).

If anyone out there cares to join us here is the itinerary. Join us along the way or from the start. We'll be leaving West Haven at 11:30. We'll cruise into the I95 rest area in Branford around 11:50. We'll then cruise down to the Madison rest area. I figure we will be there around 12:10 or so. The next stop will be the Westbrook "Welcome Center" across from the State Police. From there is on to Mystic.

The CFM has the usual fare, Crab Cakes, Lobster rolls and so forth. There is nothing but picnic tables, no indoor seating. Lots of parking across the street and at the restaurant.

It's worth the drive just for the run through the center of town, but I do like the crab cakes. Join us if you can!

Bob

Bob, That sounds like a nice ride but I'll be in Portsmouth, NH for or families big anual get together.

Any chance you will be in lake George for the Upstate summer run? It is a great event for couples.

Last question. We exchanged remails over a year ago and you were planing a move to souther NH. Any progress on that front?

Enjoy your ride.

I'll be there with you Bob. Meet you at 11:30 AM on Marsh Hill Road entrance near I-95 in Milford, CT. I will bring the camera.

On Saturday evening I plan on being up in the Cruise at Marcus Dairy in Danbury.
