Joe

I had some trouble even finding insurance in MA, but it should be easier in CT.

See my gallery. I posted an article about obtaining insurance in MA and it lists the company names I talked with and some other information.

Just make sure that it is an "agreed" amount, not a "stated amount" policy. I assume that you want "collector" car insurance, and not antique insurance. Check to make sure you can "live" with the various restrictions that come with the policy, and the restrictions will vary amongst the companies you contact.

I would strongly suggest that you do a search on this site for "Insurance" and read over the posts. I did before I went shopping for insurance and it was well worth the time.

Good Luck

I have my insurance for the Cobra, both liability and comprehensive, with Allstate. After agreeing upon a value and submitting multiple pictures for their review. Was a straight forward process.

Not sure, might have helped in that my homeowners and all other vehicles are also insured by Allstate.

Joe, you are to be congratulated on passing the CT inspection after only two attempts. Curious, what item (s) failed the first time and did you have the heat shields installed for the side exhaust ?
