Unhappy Dam weather

This dam New England weather is making it impossible to venture far from home. One minute sunny then shower's. Here in Ct. it's cool and threat's of T-storm's. I'm sure Monday will be perfect.

Yesterday was great driving weather. Put on about 130 miles.

Just got back from a ride this AM, cuz its gettin dark and going to rain.

Weather Channel says sunny thru Thursday, and since I'm retired ...

I will take my "One-A-Day Ride" for my mental health

OK, I know I'm really anal about this stuff, but why is it so many Cobra guys think that a word ending with an "s" needs an apostrophe? It used to be just Long Island and New Jersey, but it seems to be spreading!

Examples = Cobra's For Sale, All the guy's are taking their car's to the track, Jims wheel's looked great, etc.

Correct = Cobras For Sale, All the guys are taking their cars to the track, Jim's wheels looked great.

I thought Wilf was still in England. No offense Bob!

Back to the weather. I took my Cobra out to a high school reunion planning meeting at a local pub here in Tulsa last week. I left after work ant there wasn't a cloud in the sky but at 8:00 there was this one cloud hanging over the Fox and Hound and as you would guess I got about 5 mins of light rain on the Cobra. Went back into the pub and had another beer and when I left everything was dry. Two blocks away there wasn't a drop that fell. Go figure!

Thumbs down

Clois

Its that Mt Shasta goddess. She'll get ya every time. She got me last week about 1 mile away from my garage. But as soon as I backed the Cobra in the garage ... the rain stopped and the sun came out. So I went back out for another ride and a needed "blow dry".

We got out on Sunday morning (May 21st) for a nice long ride. However, just as we arrived home about noon we had a spritz of rain. The weather recently has been very changeable from hour to hour here in CT.

Bob... do not let the little thing's bother you.... ;-)

Until today the weather has been down-right wacky. The sun would come out then a half hour later rain.....................and on and on. Sunday I couldn't stand it another minute. The AM was nice, but they called for storms virtually any time in the afternoon. Went for a nice cruise with the wife anyway. Cut it REALLY close. Just as I got back to the house the rain let loose bigtime. Wouldn't really have mattered except I had just detailed (5 hours) the chassis.

Just in case anyone in Arizona is interested, Connecticut had another 5 inches of rain this weekend. The days get shorter in 3 weeks.

Ended up working on the car seeing we could not drive them.
It is starting to get depressing. It's either raining or cold. We have lost spring this year. At least i can drive mine during the week being that i'm in sale's and work my own schedule but would like to take a long ride to the shore etc.

Forecast is only "partly cloudy" for the next few days. I know that I'll sneak a ride or two. Getting bored with all of this rain.

Joe G.:
One of these days or nights (when the sun comes out) we will have to get together. I was thinking lunch in Mystic, the Wednesday night show at Mohegan Sun, the Saturday morning get togethers at the Backdraft dealer in Middletown or the Wednesday night cruise in Westbrook. I'll try to gather up a few other Cobra owners.

" Another coastal storm will form off the Middle Atlantic Coast Monday. As the storm strengthens, it will begin to gather some tropical moisture which is streaming up through the Bahamas. As the storm approaches southeastern New England Tuesday night and Wednesday, it could deliver another band of heavier rain, especially from eastern Long Island to coastal Maine."

http://headlines.accuweather.com/new...dc=0&article=3

Note that the weather forecasts are now using the term " another " which implies it has happened before.
