Cobras in the Mountains 2006
Chris Francis called me yesterday regarding this years event. The web page has been updated, and based upon some of our conversations, everything regarding meals and rooms is al-a-carte this year. Last year was the first year and a few things got screwed up, but it still was an enjoyable weekend.
I had a great time last year and met a few people ... and had a lot of fun.

I was hoping to get my pile of pieces sitting on wheels and trailer it up. SAAC 31 was inspiring but also uses up a valuable build weekend! Who else is going?

I am hosting a picnic for my Shelby and Cobra friends on July 23rd. If anyone would like to bring their Shelby or Cobra email me for details.
I didn't realize that my picnic was on the same weekend as the Cobras in the Mountains. I'll be there next year.

I'm going down to Jay's house. Hope it does not rain.

Warren, Stop by Skips in Chelmsford for breakfast if you'd like. You should be going right by there.
I just looked up squantum. Skips is more than a bit out of the way for a trip to CT.
Maybe we'll see you next month.

I live south of Boston. Chelmsford is quite a drive north, especially since I'll be driving to CT. Thanks, but I will not be there tomorrow.

It was a gray day, but it didn't rain. We had probably 10 Shelby Mustangs, a couple of cobra replicas, a Ford GT and 3 original 427's sitting side by side. We all had a great time.

Why did I know I shouldn't have asked. Oh well see you at the next one. Glad you had a good gathering!

Jay
I tried to make it but it was raining at my house until 12:30. Glad you had your BBQ. Any pics?
