Thanks Vintage
As a Cobra Newbie, I'm sure what I'm about to say most of you who frequent this forum are all probably well aware of. This is kind of a funny story. Yesterday my wife and I are driving around in Wallingford looking for Total Performance's shop to get some insight on quieting my SPF pipes (failure item #2 on DMV inspec). Anyway as were trolling down Rte. 5 my brother calls me on the cell and goes... "You're not going to believe this but I just followed a car that looks just like yours into and industrial park in Middletown!" Turns out he had stumbled on Vintage Motorsports. After he followed them in and put Jay's dad on his cell phone, I told them I'd be by to see them within a hour. I felt both elated and stupid at the same time. Here I've been looking for a Cobra almost my whole life and never new there was this great shop right in my backyard. Anyway, once I arrived, with not knowing me at all, Jay, his brother and father couldn't have been more helpful, informative and just plain willing to listen. They gave me some good insight on a couple of my DMV problems and showed me some customizing parts for my Cobra (hold that air cleaner for me Jay). A CLASS-ACT OUTFIT!!
More than just the cars, it's guys like these that keep the passion and the spirit of this hobby alive!! Can't wait until my DMV wowes are over so I can stop by on Saturdays with my SPF. Thanks again.
