Very cool to see them in someones yard & driveway vs a museum.
An unusual way to increase property values............

Sorry to be ignorant - what was last Sunday? Is this just an informal gathering of friends at your place?
If so - you have wonderful friends.

I host a picnic for the New England Shelby Club every summer. It's open to members and close friends. I'll put out the word next year if you guys want.

That was Jays unfair contest with the Cobras in the Mountains weekend. A little gathering of his Shelby crazy friends, can you believe it! Jay let us know when the next one is and Ron and I will guard the cars with our cameras.

Vinny Liska made the trip from NJ and Kenny Beers came from NY. I would love more cobras next year. You guys are more than welcome.
Micmate was invited on the Cobras in the Mountains thread. Your loss

Sorry I could not make it. It was really raing hard up here by Boston. Did not stop until 1 PM or so. Looks like the Gods spared the rain from NE CT.

Jay,
Very nice of you to offer. If I might ask; the red, Weber equipped SC style car-is that or was that once owned by Jim Inglese? I ask because I saw it (or it's twin) on a cover of the Shelby American in the 80's.

Yes that was the Inglese mobile until about 1987 or so. As far as Vinny goes, I think he drove up with a friend in a daily driver, same as last year. It looked like it would rain in the morning, but we still had about 15-20 Shelby or Ford products and about 50 people.
We had an ice cream truck show up in the afternoon for the kids. When Vinny heard the music coming from the truck as it pulled into the driveway, his ears went up like an old horse hearing the dinner bell.
