JTD-
I spend a fair amount of time at Sunapee myself during the summer (Birch Point), and live not too far North. Don't do a lot of driving around the lake as I am ALWAYS behind some granny from Connecticut or someone towing a boat at 35 MPH- but have been known to light up Rt. 10 when I get the chance
As summer inches closer we should make plans-

If we picked a spot in Concord would you be interested in joining the breakfast? Dave, are there any spots up Concord way (best for Nick) that would be easy access for the Sunapee crowd? Suggestions? Hopkinton?????

Jeff et al... I don't know the area real well west of I-89. There is a pretty good diner style restaurant on Loudon Rd. in Concord called The Windmill. Only a couple of minutes off I-93. It is easy access from the seacoast via Rt4, Would save Nick and crew plus John and JTD the extra 30 or so minutes to Epson. Sounds like a pretty central spot for all. Just a little too close for me!

Like I mentioned earlier- my status for driving anything other than a minivan to gatherings in the near future is "uncertain."
Assuming I get clear roads soon, I have to retrieve my car from my builder and sort out a new motor (and its HP bump )
Don't get me wrong, I will still drive down and park my van with you guys. Prop up my hood and give you all a look at 6 cylinders of raw Toyota power...
JTD- once I'm ready to roll I'll drop you a line. Looking forward to some Sunapee action soon...

I'm in regardless of location. It justs depends if it's trailering distance or if I leave my pile of parts at home :-)

Manchester or Concord
We are in NH (Franklin) almost every Weekend and I would love to become active in your group. Chemsford would be a long haul for us, Manchester would be great, Concord even better.

May 25-27th is the Nationals.

Warren has a good list of NE events going on. The NE cobras website is worth checking too.

I am already signed up for the Laconia Nationals on May 26.
I would be interested in that list of events. Who is Warren?
Is this the right link to NE Cobra website ? http://www.necobras.com/I haven't been able to get it working this year. Do you have the Link?
The interest is at a all time high this time of year; April 14 I am ready.
Help me clear this up. We are going to the Windmill on Loudon Rd April 14, 2007? and to Skips's in Chelmsford on the 28th? What time should we be there? Should someone contact the restaurant?

The NE Cobra website address is the last one I have and it is down right now.

Hi Warren, would you like to add the Nationals to your list for us. I had trouble with that NECOBRAS site also. The FFR guys have a good thread going on our NE summer rendez vous' so we could get a couple of good gatherings from the look of things.

NE Group,
Sounds like the diner style restaurant on Loudon Rd. in Concord called
The Windmill is the place to kick off our gatherings. Let's start April 14th 8am. 8am is a good time since not everyone goes for a drive after thus allowing for wife approval ratings. I will not be in the CCX on the 14th, still trying to get it back together.
The Chelmsford gathering is also at 8am. 28th 1st one? Henry?
I look forward to meeting new Northern guys!
See you at the Windmill 8am 14th.
Jeff

Hello all,
I finally have my Daytona coupe registered and ready for the Mass safety inspection. Can anyone recommend a kit car friendly inspection station in the Grafton/Shrewsbury/ Millbury mass area?

Here's an answer to the question about why Concord AND Skips.
Last year I started a monthly breakfast for Cobras from the "North Shore of Boston" area. I picked Skips in Chelmsford as a good central location. It worked well. with a group between 5 and 10 or more each month. A good number of the guys turned out to be from NH (like myself). This year Jeff thought there were enough cars in NH to have there own breakast event.
I will still pull toghetherthe Chelmsford/Skip's event on the 4th Saturday while Jeff will take the lead on the Concord breakfast onthe 2nd Saturday of each month.
Both are low key informal events. Make it to as many as you want. The response from the NH crowd has been great. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you.
I will still be going to Chelmsford as often as I can as well.
Harvey

I will stop by the Windmill and let them know we are going to have a group there on the 14th. How about a head count... who is intending on going?
Nick: Will you, Ron and Pat be able to make it down?
Jeff: If you are not back together you can ride with me. I should be ready.
Nantucket427: John, we met at the Concord show in Sept. Would be good to see you guys again if you can make it.

The car is still in the trailer in NH, pretty muddy out there but the wind is blowing today and it is not freezing.

I'll get in touch with a couple of the other guys. I'm planning on being there. Both my driveways are pretty passable after two sunny windy days, you should be good now.
