Disgusting Weather
I'm sure everyone like myself is going nuts waiting for warm weather. I won't even order my WET PAINT wax until i hear it's going to be at least 60 out. Took a short ride last Saturday.
I look foward to moving to NC. in a couple of years so i can use it 10 months a year. NEW ENGLAND SUCKS- we do not get spring anymore. And in NC. my car tax will be $40.00 not $480.00 like here.

Joeg,
We're doing better than some of the other forum members. It's snowing in Texas. I knew I put the ice boat away just a little early this year and if I start working on the catamaran next week it's bound to snow here in CT too. Every time this Spring when I put the key to the Cobra in my hand the weather gets cold and it starts to rain. Still, when it's good here it's real good.

Joe-does it look like it's shaping up to be a repeat of last year?
BTW-you can always go down to CVH and toss rocks at the inmates.

NC is also one of the cheapest states for insurance. I have a 5K mile limit, and I pay 250 a year....
40 dollar car tax???? we pay property tax on our cars here based on value, and it is no where near the cheap end of the spectrum (tax deductible of course) and I believe I payed close to the 480 mark this year for the cobra.
But... the weather is nice... except for the 4 months of serious summer heat and humidity... I don't like to drive during the days, I wait till early evening.
Where abouts in NC are you moving to?
James

With the changing climate, it will be snowing in NC in five years.
Heck, we are having winter all over again here in Michigan.

Joe:
If the weather ever does straigten out this spring let's get together someplace. How about at Vintage in Wallingford, Oliver's in Exxex, Cove Road Fish Market in Mystic, Mohegan Sun, Marcus Dairy in Danbury or the Saturday night cruise at the Hamden magic mile. You decide. Maybe we can get some of the Connecticut guys together during our 8 weeks of good weather.

Let's hope it is not a repeat of the spring we did not have last year. Went from cold and rainy to 95 and humid. Vintage sounds good. Or even Hampden. I find after and hour or so of driving i'm ready for abreak.

The transporter picked up my Superformance here in AZ and is taking it to PA. OPEN TRAILER. The German who bought the car saved 500.00 but it'll cost him a lot more getting the car cleaned up after the weather it it will be carried through. Ridiculous. I don't know why it pi$$ed me off so much since it's his car but it was a nice car.
