Gary,
We will be ending in Brattleboro VT. The resteraunt is about 1/2 a mile from an on ramp to Rt 91. That is as close to Mt Carmel as you will be all day if you come along. Our closest point to the cape will be at about 9:30 in the morning.
The cruise itself is something like 240 miles.
Why not get a room it the Brattleboro area the take a relaxed cruise home the next day? Southern VT and the Berkshires are beautiful and have lots of nice twisty roads.

True007,
Come over to VT and join us for dinner. That road across the bottom of VT is great fun. It's not more that 45 min. to Brattleboro.
Grap Greg P. and bring him along. He needs to take a night off from planning the Lake George event anyway.

True,
Greg has been talking about selling his car for years but he hasn't yet.
Perhaps this year is diferent but I'll bet he still has it.

See you in York, Me
Harvey,
Will probably see you at "Maude Hutchins" York, Me.
If we have a late breakfast, will join you before the next leg to Hillsboro.
I have your number and will call you in the morning. My wife will be joining us as it is our anniversary. Can't wait for the ride - sounds like a beautiful day.

Sorry that we were not able to make it for the entire cruise but we were glad that we could make it up to Diamond Acres to meet with everyone there. We've posted several of the pictures at the following link:

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next meeting and for next year's cruise.

Cannonball Cruise
What a great time...the weather was great, the roads were excellent and the camaraderie was second to none. I pulled into my garage last night at 9:30 PM, 330 miles later and 14 hours after Harvey and I started in Putnam,Ct. What a blast!. Thanks for all the hard work and planning, Harvey...the drive (and the food stops) were just perfect. Can't wait to see what's on tap for next year.

What a day!
My wife and I really enjoyed meeting all the people and driving the route. Harvey, you did a great job with planning and execution. It was great to meet people at various stops along the way with all the different cars. We had a broad spectrum of Cobras EM, FFR, CCX, ERA, SPF, A&C, and new Shelby Mustang.
Great people, great cars, and great fun!

Ron & Jeff, Thanks for the kind words.
A special thanks to Ron for makeing the entire 6 state trip with me. It would have been a much longer day without seeing you in the rear view all day. Not to mention the car stories all day.
I think the people were the highlight of the day. We meet with seveal familiar faces and few new ones. Most notably for me was meeting Pierre and his wife who it turns out live all of 4 miles from me.
The suprise of the day goes to the guy in the black Superformance. It turns out we happened to pick his local gas station for one of our stops. He was just a bit suprised to see 5 other Cobras there to great him. It was a real treat for all of us. His car was filled with his own personal mods that were beatifuly executed.
By the time we left Maine there were six cars in the conga line as we crossed into NH. A couple of cars pealed away as we headed for the NH stop. Despite the cool weather most of us sampled the ice cream. The tastiest treat was that new Shelby Mustang D&B brought. Ron, Pierre and I said fairwells to the others and headed off for the last leg to VT and dinner.
Over shrimp and salads we talked more about family than cars but the conversation was great as new friends became better aquanted. A special congrasts to Pierre and his wife who were celebrating there anniversary.
Will I plan another NE Cannonball cruise for next year? Probably not. After all Ron and I can say "Been there, done that." Will I plan another event of some kind? Oh yea, I've got a few ideas......

Thank you All
Harvey,
Thank you for the oppertunity to join the cruise.
When we pulled in to the lot in York, Me. I knew we were in for a good day.
Thank you all for making us feel welcomed, special thanks to Harvey for his dedication to the cruise. Cobra people are a good lot.
After we left Harvey and Ron in Brattleboro, we leisurely cruised home via Route 9/101. We put in 270 miles by the time we got home (9:00 pm). Also am proud to say we got 18 miles per gallon . I'm looking forward to another cruise/get together. Will monitor the site for upcoming events.
Again, thanks for a great time.
Pierre and Louise (34 years together on Saturday)
