Cobra in the Mountains...
Hey I thought I'd throw this out there. Is anyone considering going to the Cobra in the Mountains event in VT July 20-22?
http://www.cobrasinthemountains.com/index.html
If anyone has gone to prior ones, what were rides, accomodations and attendance like? I know this will probably be a last minute, "weather permitting" event but it does sound like fun. Any input would be appreciated.

Mike:
I can't get Cobra guys to go to Guilford or Essex or Mystic. You don't really think Vermont is in your future do you?

I went there 2 years ago. Was a lot of fun. If the weather is nice I will ride up there. The roads are nice and fun to drive with a Cobra.

I went 2 years ago also. It was a great time. Like Warren said the roads and scenery are beautiful.
If I don't have to use the rain date for my party next week, I just may go to stowe VT for the Cobras in the Mountains.

I'll be at the Museum of Transportation in Brookline (15 Newton St) on Sat. Jay also mentioned last week that he was coming too. Its all of about 8 miles from my house as compared to the 80 miles to Jay's Bash.
Here is info from mot.org website
21 – American Muscle Day - Open to all American V8 powered intermediate and full-sized performance cars from the `60's through the `90's.
10am to 2pm: Sponsored by the Bay State Antique Auto Club, the Shelby American Automobile Club and the Shelby Dodge Club, American Muscle Day invites all Muscle Cars of all years to participate. This year the Museum pays tribute to Carroll Shelby. A special concours area of Shelby Cars and Shelby inspired cars will be featured. Classes will be by make (all years), with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies. There will also be "Participant's Choice," "Best Modified," "Club Participation," and the infamous "Most Likely to be Pulled Over" award as well as a Museum Staff Award for "Best Un-restored American Muscle Car." Hey kids show us your muscle, bring your favorite muscle car model and feature it in a Peewee muscle concours. Registration is $10 per American Muscle show car.
