Default NE Chapter Cookout August 18th in NH

Cobra Club Members,

I would like to announce our second annual Cobra / Ford / Muscle Car cookout August 18th 2007 at 11am. Rain date 19th! All types of cars are welcome to join in the fun. This is an opportunity to show off your car while looking at other awesome creations.

Last year this event was held at my house in Candia NH with a great turn out even some Chevy’s came to impress. (Candia is right outside Manchester NH) If a larger group of cars RSVP this year we will use the local park which does have a pavilion and place for children. Either way it will be held in Candia NH.

I will provide burgers, hot dogs, salads, some sweets, and non-alcoholic beverages. If you have a favorite dish you would like others to taste you are welcome to bring it along to. That is totally up to you……

Please RSVP by August 8th so we can arrange the pavilion if necessary.

We hope to see you!

Please contact: Jeff or Danielle

Donna, the kids, and I are planning on being there. Donna will just be getting back from CA so we might change our plans and bring the Shelby over and head up North on Sunday instead. That way the Shelby doesn't need to feel neglected.

To all,

My wife fears that we are going to make this too difficult at the park down the street. So, an executive decision has been made and the party will be at my house just as last year:

14 New Boston Rd
Candia, NH 03034

Easy to find off exit #3 Rt101. Hope to see you all there!
Jeff and family....

BTW: Bring your other half as they will have other wives here as well. This helps get it scheduled..........

John,

Funny! I will be there however "Nick" has bailed on us. Worse case I could push my car out to the end of the driveway if it doesn't start.

I have dropped the word, via an attendee, with the NE Lotus and Viper clubs as well. Should be a great day!

Jeff

Jeff
Thanks for a great cookout. The collection of cars was awesome. Great weather too! Amazing that I had to wear a jacket on the drive up (and back) in the middle of August. Great weather, great food and a great time.

Oh, and tell your wife the food was great.

Regarding your comment about "where are the chicks?", here they are .... do you recognize the one in the middle?

The food attracted a big crowd, even while big groups conversed around all of the cars.

I really wanted a donut, but there were no jelly crullers!

Jeff
You failed to mention that the second red Viper in your first photo ONLY had about 950 HP at the crank. Talk about a rocket ship! But it had a weird sounding Borla exhaust system. Extremely quiet at idle and extremely loud at full song, but sounded somewhat like a tuner. But with over 900 HP on tap, who cares.

Here are some of my "car" photo's ....

Clean and neat looking engine compartment ...

ACK427's ride. Interesting use of some red pinstripe tape just outside the normal stripes. Really looked good!

Nothing better than a black car, except it gets dirty within 5 minutes after washing!

Love the two color paint on the rear of a Daytona .....
