Drive thru Nahant
I took a ride up to the North Shore on Sunday. The weather was perfect (mid 70's & low humidity, no clouds). I drove thru Revere beach ... its still a dump. Then up the Lynn causeway (nice road) and drove into Nahant. Its a peninsula, similar to where I live in Squantum. Love to be surrounded by water. Drove around for a couple of hours seeing if there were any good places to take some pictures. I did find a few nice spots.
Here is one down a side street where the view was much better than this picture.
aaaahhhhhhh .. beach living. Roll out of bed and go swimming.
Here is a few shots from a beach area facing east. Fantastic views of the rock outcroppings. The Cobra was not moved in the following pics ...
This shot is from the Yacht club. Nice little harbor.
I did not get any pictures from the beach because of $3 for parking and the sea wall was about 5 foot tall, so there were no good places to take any pics at the main beach.
Overall trip was about 85 miles. Nice way to waste 4 hours on a lazy Sunday with no NASCAR race and no good local car show to attend.
