Northern Mass Southern NH Cruise
For those of you who can't make the Saturday breakfast (such as me) or if you just can't get enough of driving these cars in the fall (such as me) there will be a breakfast on Sunday at Skip's in Chelmsford, Ma. followed by a 60-80 mile cruise through Northern Ma. into Southern NH. Sorry I didn't post sooner, I hadn't quite worked out details and it took a while for any one to become interested. Here is the posting from FFcobra.com
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have all been kicking around a foliage ride but nothing seems to pan out. At least two of us have committed to next sunday, breakfast somewhere (Skip's?) and a cruise through northern Ma. and southern NH. Exact route is still open for ideas although Cobra Ray and my self were thinking cruising 113 through Pepperell and surrounding area. Foliage or not it should be nice. It would be good if no one winds up much more than an hour from home...it is a football sunday. Any takers? Long term forecast does improve by weekend.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope a few will join us....whether they're Factory five or not. I'm also working on a meeting place near my home on November 3 for a cruise and visit to an open house at Boston Sportscar....where there will be food, cars and of course some sort of entertainment. You know what they say you either watch the entertainment...or you are the entertainment. I have cleared it with the guys at Boston Sportscars that we may have as many as 8-10 loud and hungry cars and drivers even if they are......uh oh...REPLICAS.
BTW, BSC is the North American warranty center for Lamborghini as well as the shop that takes car of many Ferraris, Porsches as well as Bill Cosby private car collection. Stay tuned.

Ron,
Will try for Sunday as well, might have to skip the ride though do to daughters B-day. Keep us posted on the November ride! Sounds interesting to say the least.
I still want to see your Lotus.

Jeff,
It would be great to have some of the NH crowd. you could always start the ride and head back to Manchester when we started to loop back. Come by anytime to see the Lotus. the Nov 3 event would be within a few minutes of my house....that would work as well.

Sorry I missed this morning, had a 10am deadline to be back here. Hope there was a great turn out!
Post pics if you have them. Typically Harvey has the Skips breakfast 4th Sat of the month. Maybe then?
Probably will make the Nov run then that will be it.

Jeff,
We had a good turn out. 7 cars for breakfast and cruised about 60 miles through Pepperell, into southern NH on 122 across 101 and back down 31 to 119. Weather was a bit cool but the scenery was great and traffic was fairly light. Hope to see you and some others on Nov. 3. I think that I'm out of town for the 4th sat of oct.

Ron H.,
Were you one of two cobras cruising on Sunday around noon in Weston? I saw a silver with black and a blue with white following each other.

Murray,
Yes that was me and Shawn Whalen. We were just on our way back from a great cruise up through southern NH with 5 other Cobras. Mine is the sliver one and Shawn's is blue. Are you in Weston often?.. Are you interested in the Nov. 3d event....Cruise and open house at Boston Sports Cars in Weston...a Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche and even a few Cobras garage.

Hi Ron,
I was actually at Boston Sports Car when you drove by!.I followed you out till you went south(?) to Wellsley. I live in Newton and was on the way back from Concord and was checking out BSC.You guys got on it a couple of times and it definately sounded good!! I don't know if I will have my car there but will make it for look around. I have a dead line on a house I'm building and don't know if I have the distraction time these events take?
