Lime Rock 2008 Changes

A brief article in the December edition of Road & Track mentions:

But he ( Skip Barber ) does plan to change the famous downhill corner leading onto the front straight to reduce speed and re-create the challenge it had before it became a flat-out bend that today's top level cars negotiate without lifting "

"......other improvements include a new track drainage system, a wider entrance and a plethora of improved creature comforts. Of note, the new clubhouse is designed by Sam Posey. It's a " green " building that will use solar panels and other environmentally friendly techniques while maintaining the traditional New England architecture of the other buildings in the park "

NOTE: The new clubhouse is for those joining " The Club at Lime Rock " , $100,000 for charter membership, good for 50 years, with 60 days allocated of exclusive track time per year, each member allowed to use 20 of those days.
