Shame about Belicheat actually. The Pats had a GREAT season, and I truly understand how disappointing it was for them to lose their chance at immortality, but Belicheat could indeed have shown a little more class about a) stomping off the field before it was officially over, and b) doing a pretty fair immitation of Oscar the Grouch during the post game interview. Although I STILL think that interviewing the losing coach is a pretty stupid and $hitty thing to do, it is what it is, and with his experience he should have handled it better.

Actually, he could have shown a LOT more class!

Well played Patriots, bad luck and even though he might be good at what he does, our sympathies for a classless grouch as a coach!

The Steelers? They are bigger choke artist than the Colts!

Not only will the Pats win and go undefeated, but just to rub it in every bodies nose, they will go undefeated next year!

Bet on it!
Might talk with C$ on methods to rewrite history, my friend.
I must admit I did not think the Gmen had a real shot even though they took the Pats to the wall @ season end. I always thought Eli was the choker, but he played a he[[ of a game tonight and the D really came thru. I like watching all the talking heads roll on about AFC superiority.....Guess thats why they play the games. Hats off to the GMen!

NY outplayed the Pats.
Eventually the fact that the Pats don't really run along with the combo of a great opposing defense was going to get them. They were all over Brady like a cheap shirt. It was a nail biter however the last stand of NY showed the age of the Pats defense. Sorry but true.......

Congrats NY Giants.

I don't get it. Almost everyone is down on the Pats because they were winners. With the money in todays professional sports, do you think the Pats and Belichek are the ONLY ones that "cheat"? If anyone thinks "their" team did not partake in anything that was not a little less than "above board", they are mistaken. I think the Patriots ended up overconfident and beat themselves.
I have had this argument with a lot of people---Do you really think the players in todays professional sports are worth the millions they get? Think about it. The only thing they have done is drive the price of seats up so a normal family man cannot take his family to see a game, any game. The merchandising at the stadium/ball park, the cost of food, it's ridiculous. Remember, no matter which sport---it is still grown men playing a kids game.
My hat is off to the Giants, they played a very intense game.

No need to be rude!, You NY guys always find a way to bring up the Baseball. The yankees have not won this century.

Good teams on both sides. Great superbowl! The team that "who wants it more" WON...Hands down. Giants played a great game.

Someone bags on a sports team and now they are rude? You need to get a new dictionary. That wasn't rude it was DAMN funny. The Patsys CHOAKED in the biggest game of their LIVES and got b.itch-slapped by the Giants. The un-defeated season means NOTHING!In fact it further high-lights their gagging. And now Brady & Moss have withdrawn from the Probowl.
Que Nelson from the Simpsons-HAH-haa.

I actually happen to be a RED SOX fan, but I do tend to find that NY fans are much better at handling losing than Boston fans. Be it Football, Baseball or Basketball most Boston fans (not you necessarily you sound as if you may be a reasonable fan) that I know are very good at dishing it out but not so good at taking it. You don't hear Jets, Giants or Bills fans chanting "Red Sox suck" at a FOOTBALL game . Everytime I hear Patriots fans Chanting "Yankees suck" at a football game I shake my head in pity.

Technical question here:

Is the year 2000 part of this century or last century?

nope...last century!!!!! There was no year zero, so the first century went from AD 1 through AD 100, etc. 20th century went from 1901 through 2000!

WOW!

I didn't realize I was going to upset the Big apple cart. I was just saying that the best team on sunday won, and no need to bring up baseball.

Brady looked like crap and Manning looked like his brother.

Congrats to the giants.
