Played some tennis this afternoon, waiting for the Super Bowl to start. It was a tough match but I finally beat my opponent in a 3 set tie-breaker.

After the tennis match, I tried to rent a boat from the Kennedy Boat Sales and Wreckage Company. I got the last one available, but I have to wait for the next high tide.

Here are a couple of pictures I took while waiting for high tide.

I think that Ted Kennedy once walked accross this bridge over the Mink Meadows Inlet, and nobody died. But that's just a rumor.

I doubt it - he'd never have made that sharp right turn and would have been
in the drink. Maybe he did and came out cleaner throught the ordeal!

The GPS in your car tells us you are aging as fast as Ron as you can not remember where you are either.

We are sorry to hear you have joined the ranks of the "forclosed", but that new house of yours with the sofa swing...you are really retired.

The clip with you in the Lincoln, get some shocks.

Painting that sign to pick on Fred was low...it really said FROGS WORKING - SLOW DOWN didn't it?

Just so you do not feel as if you escaped, there is a Siberian Winter Blast on it's way to your old house. I think Ron and Fred got together and asked Mt Shasta goddess for her help with it.

How about this "artwork" in the front yard of a house? Interesting, to say the least.

Mercury, not a Lincoln. Last two daily beaters were Town Cars. Slumming it with a Merc now. The road was just like a mini-roller coaster. And the huge puddles ... the car was a mess. Had to find some big puddles on a tarred road and thundered thru them. Ultra-cheap car wash

Best part of Martha's Vineyard is the lack of snow. Couple of inches on ground yesterday in Boston ... none here.

Sun was out bright this AM, but its cloudy again. Time to get the Sunday paper and do some reading.

Great pictures. Maybe you will be lucky and get some nice weather this time. Or not! Loved the Old Dirt Road. As for the drive, you can do that here on some of these trails the forestry has cut up the canyon walls for fire access, except they haven't kept them up and most them are only accessible now by motorcycle or a 4 wheeler and even they you have to push them across places the earthquakes have caused to break.

Here is pic of the supposedly oldest tree on the island. I posted a pic a while ago, but now there are no leaves, so the branches are easier to see.

The wind is blowing about 50 MPH in gusts right now. No rain, no snow.
