Cool Major Event Saturday May,17

I just posted this on FFCobra. Lets try to get a big crowd for this one. Rumor has it that the location is in new Hampshire.

Enough of the rain. The odds should be in our favor for this one. One of the South Shore Group, Craig aka Blue Classic 65 has been extended an offer by a friend of his who lives in a restored antique gas station up north. On May 17 he is having a barbecue, open house and informal car meet all during the day. We are all invited and it is a great opportunity to put some miles on our cars and to get together the North Shore, South coast and Southern New Hampshire group. We should be able to work out multiple meeting sites, breakfasts and caravans once we get the exact location. All of you who were going to meet for the U Mass show, the south shore breakfast and all other events that have had less than optimum conditions here is our chance to put this one on the map. It would be great to get 20 or 30 cars. So start planning....details to follow. And this event is open to anyone, any car, bike, whatever.

Ron

Red face Update

Just a bit more information for you guys. No responses...must be something I said......
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The location for this get together is Loudon, NH. I just found out that we need to try to limit the numbers to about 10-15 cars this year so the sooner guys commit the better we can figure it all out. So if you are interested please post and/or send me a PM. Spots will fill up quickly. Thanks,

PS As of now we are at about 10 cars. There will probably be a couple of meeting places so that we can arrive more or less together.

Default Last Chance

Trying to get a final count. We have 7 so there is room for more. We are going to meet at Maryanns Diner in Derry at 10:30 for breakfast before heading up to Loudon for a 1:00 start time. We also have a group meeting first at the rest stop on 93 just across the NH border at 9:45. Some of you guys barely have to drive for this one. Any interest?

I'd love to go but the timing is very bad. We have a major phone conversion this weekend I've been tied up with that the past few weeks right thru Saturday afternoon. Hopefully after that things will calm down but a little late for getting to Loudon.

Hey Ron,

I might be interested.... Just a stones throw for me. I know John, Nant427 was talking about it, but have not heard from him. I'll call Jeff tonight. But his car still may be under the knife. Is this by registration only? Let know some particulars, I could meet you guys in Concord. I am right off exit 16.

Default no can do

Dave, I hear that Jeff's car is a gonermay never come out of the garage this year and I hope that is a joke, but I do like to heckle him.
John and I are both up this weekend but have alot of stuff to do for London Ohio. Trailer was damaged by the Snow. We also are moving into the NEW Garage.

Hey guys,

It would be great to have a few more. We are meeting at Maryann's Restaurant in Derry at 10:30 to travel to Loudon together but that is certainly not required. We also had made tentative arrangements to pick up one or two at the Liquor Store in Manchester (Hmmm that doesn't sound quite right) but I think they are joining us for breakfast now. Any of those options would work or if you would rather here are the directions I got from Craig aka Blue Classic 65 on the FFR forum directly to the event:

Directions from the South:
I-93 North to Concord, NH
Take I393 / Rte. 202 East to Rte. 106 North
North on Rte. 106 Travel about 1.75 miles to Rte. 129
Left onto Rte. 129 travel about 1 block and bear left at the fork
Travel to the American Legion with the Army Tank out front.
“Bob’s Place” is across the street with the two antique gas pumps out front

I'll check back later to see if you guys are interested. if you want to see the entire thread here it is (although it got a bit lengthy)
Major Event Satuday, May 17 - FFCobra.com - Factory Five Racing Discussion Forum

Hope to see you guys there.

Ron

PS Rumor has it that Jeff's car will see the light of day at some point this summer
