Question Lunch/Coffee Southern Connecticut - Sunday 11-9-08

Hey Kids:
This Sunday is predicted to cool but dry. The wife and I are hoping to circulate the fluids in the ol' snake. Is there any interest out there to join us for lunch and/or Coffee and a ride around noon? It may be the last best day until next spring. There are a few places along the central coast (Fish Tale, Oliver's, Dunkin Donuts, The Clam House). This time I'll remember the camera.

Gary, Jack, Todd, Jim, Fatty any interest?

Bob

Bob,
You should try and hit the Mill Pond get together in Cos Cob. They get a typical 4 - 5 Cobras on a Sunday morning and always looking for more. Oh, and 1 of those 4 is usually a real one.

You don't really want company for that, do you?

You should let me take you through some lesser known back roads here in the area. I'll see Gary today but I'm sure he's game. I know of a great route.

Ok guys, where are we meeting? How about high noon at the ?????. Any thoughts?

Jay, what time to they meet at the Mill Pond? Gary (the cop) indicated to me that the Mill Pond was not exactly open to everybody.

Cool

Hey guy's .The Milll Pond is open to everyone & it starts around 9:00 and goes till around 12:00 or so. Jay & Gary know the way but it is right on the post road in Cos Cob. I wish I could join you but I'm in the city tomorrow (lunch & broadway play ) I'd rather go for a ride with you guys.

Bob, if you would, when you are posting about this, can you address all of us so we all can participate, I don't have anyones cell phone at all, and I already am seeing a communication breakdown that could be easily avoided.
I am in for whatever you guys want, let us just get a firm meeting point and time, so we will all be on the same page!
I believe I went to a wedding at the Mill Pond a few years back, very nice place for sure...is that the place with the waterfall in the back, and the parking lot is across the street?
Somebody said Cobra guys meet there every Sunday, is that true? That would be pretty cool.
Anyway, keep posting, it would be nice to have things firmed up by this evening.

Nino's it is. Noreen and I will be at the Madison green at noon.

That ERA looks familiar, I hope those two 600 CFMs have enough fuel in the tank.

So what is the plan, is that the meeting spot and time( Madison green)? If yes, is there an address for Ninos so I can get directions. Are you planning a cruise after lunch?

David:
Nino's (as best I can tell) is at 381 Town Street in East Haddam. It looks like Todd and Gary have already been there. Let's hope they didn't cause any trouble.

If you'd like we can meet you at Long Wharf (Exit 46 I believe) at 11:30.

Check your private mail.

Bob

Holy Crap! I think I see the sun! I'm gonna run the Cobra around the yard to blow off the leaves.
