Mike,
It was good to talk to you again.
The current economy makes me think my decision to not go down the IT path may not have been the best one. I'm considering going back to school for formal training as an automotive mechanic, but I'm just not sure I'd want to do it 8 hours a day. That's why I've stuck to the tech path, I like the mix. Oh well... Now if I could just get paid to race.
(Like that's going to happen.)
Say, if you're not doing anything on Sunday, June 28th, I have a BMW autocross event at Devens. (7am to 5pm) The BMW events are cool as they allow ride-alongs (members and spectators) and even supply loaner helmets. Bring Scott (and/or Neil) and check it out. It costs you nothing but the gas to get there. You do have to sign a release to get on the property and a minor waiver for anyone under 18, but that's it.
If you're interested, just let me know so that I'm prepared. I'm typically a worker boss which means I experience 20 minutes of terror twice a day as I try to marshal my course workers to their locations, hoping that no one has decided to leave for the day without telling me.
Other than that I ride with other drivers and maybe do a little coaching.
I received confirmation that my resume was received by BAE, so now it's wait and see time.
I have attached a copy of my resume just in case you hear of an opening and need something to place in front of someone. If you do hear of any openings, please let me know.
thanks,
Mark
