They were right hand drive. I never heard of RHD FIA cars.

Good point. The RHD 289s were the COB6000 series I believe. The FIA289 raced at LeMans in 63. AC started offering RHD cars in 64 but I don't know if any made it into the Shelby shop. I noticed the red one didn't have the cut back doors.

Rich:
Did you get home ok?
Bob:
I had the green street car with the Sunburst wheels, just curious...do you have pics of the green street car that was next to me? There was a plum colored GT40 next to me as well. No big deal. Please send them to fzabski@uptocode.net if you have them.

I took very few pictures. I posted what I had.
Got home via Beach Road off of Route 4. It ran right down to West Street (202) in Litchfield, bypassing that huge jam that was Route 63 between Goshen and Litchfield.

Went to Torrington via Rt.4...no problem at all. Claire's brother adjusted my carb. Now it runs super. All I have to do now is find that stealth oil leak.
I think I have a few photos of your car. Gonna upload tonight. If I find any, I'll post them here.

Good to see you and Noreen again. I'll link up my photo album in Fotki when it's set up.
That stealth oil leak of mine only pisses at rpm. I'm gonna put it on the lift and seal up everything I can find. It's not the valve seals.
