Connecticut Drive - 9-19 & 9/20
Ok Kids, this weekend is supposed to be beautiful, clear skies and cool air! It could be the last best weekend of the summer season.
Is anyone out there in southern Connecticut interested in doing a breakfast or lunch run on either day? For me Saturday would be stag and Sunday would be drag. Rick, Mike, Todd, Gary, Karl, Steve, Art, Lu, & Lloyd (who's looking to buy) any interested? Merritt Parkway, Wilbur-Cross, Route 80, Route 8 - there's lots of open smooth road out there.

Bob, I am heading to the Simsbury airport Fly-in on Sunday. Some fun roads up that way.

Sunday for lunch sounds good to me. My thoughts are Oliver's in Essex (I think), The Fish Tale in Madison or The Aspen Garden in Litchfield. All three have outdoor seating, enough parking (in sight), and a nice drive to get to them. What do you guys think? Place? Time? Place to meet? Let us know.
The weather is still predicted to be terrific - cool and clear!

I'm taking a drive to Southbury for the show. Nice roads along the way. Cannot park in the show, but there are spaces up on the hill/lawn for our cars. Just a really nice drive, and the cars there are usually fantastic.

Bob, where are you headed? I'd like to do a drive, but I'm not too interested in doing a restaurant thing. Just getting out with the car will be nice.

Noreen and I will be at the Fish Tale (Madison Route 1 at 12:30) for a Coke and sandwich at a picnic table (look for the beautiful SPF in the lot). We are then heading down to the Essex Railroad (via 95 and 153 for a possible Kodak moment. From there it's home via Route 80.
Don't tell Todd

Fish Tale
Bob It was nice to see your car at the Fish Tale. I was out on the boat in the morning and heading home and saw car there. Looked great! I have been traveling and haven't been cruising since I went with Todd to Lime Rock. Gary
