NEWS: Dean Jeffries has passed away, at the age of 80
Customizing legend Dean Jeffries -- the man who painted the first Cobra (CSX2000), who built the Monkeemobile and the Green Hornet's Black Beauty, and who striped James Dean's infamous Porsche 550 Spyder with the nickname "Li'l Bastard" -- has died at the age of 80.
Jeffries died in his sleep Sunday night. The news was confirmed by author and Cobra owner, Tom Cotter.
Another great name in the car world takes the chequered flag.
