John,
Whatever happened to the fellow who ended up with that car. Where did the 911 car end up? Is it being driven, shown?
Does anyone know the final resting place for that special car?

Toik,
Haven't heard a thing. I know he is a stockbroker that lives in Red Bank, NJ. He planned on keeping the car unpainted.
I don't know if anyone has heard from him though. He lives in the same town as my Mom. Maybe I can ask around and find out where he lives.

Stockbroker?
Hmmmm! He probably sold it to your mom by now.
I was just curious, if he was driving it or not. I was hoping he would sign on to CC and find out how special a vehicle he owns.

Tom & David,
Will the DVSF III car be a transverse leaf front suspension, 289 FIA bodied car or your not so well known coil over front suspension 289 FIA bodied car? Either way, I'm making room in my garage for it next to KMP 173. Now that would be truely unbelievable.

David and Tom,
You and your families are most generous in your donation.
I do hope that your goodwill will be returned to you 100 fold !!
I also hope the fund generated from ticket sales will put CF on the MOST Endangered of extinction list.
My hat is off to you, you are to be commended.
Happy Holidays to you all,
"Bo"

Thank you David Kee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
David called up today and said "Tom what kind of tranny do you need? and before I could answer he said "just let me know and I will send it" He said if we couldn't put the tranny in the car that it should be put beside the car so the winner can put it in." David Kee is a class act and he makes the best 4 speeds too.
David, again, thank you so much.

Any one know the status of the raffle? Hadn't heard anything for awhile I am just checking to make sure I haven't missed anything.
Thanks again to the Kirkhams for donating to my new car.
Regards,
Keith

Keith,
I for one thought there would be a flurry of posts and details by now regarding everything that is going on with DVSFIII.
Heck, there was lot more said about the event three months after the last one ended than there is 3 months before the next one is.
Come to think about it, it is only 15 weeks away!!
I bet Ed is pulling his hair by now. I am sure we will be told what is taking place. There was a little hint of things to come when he was asking for help to get 6 airline tickets last week.
He is up to something, something good I bet.
I agree with getting the ticket sales going however.

He is and there will be!
Forgive me Ed for jumping in. Just trying to help
Ed does has many, many things up his sleave. Some very cool things. I may only know a few but it is his (and others) hard work and not mine so I can't spill the beans. But there is some cool stuff in the works.
You know Ed. He doesn't like to tell us something until he is sure it can happen.
I to hope the tickets will go on sale soon. I think they will be. Seems to me Ed posted some where else that setting up taking the credit cards over the net was a hastle with the bank but has been resolved. So it should only be a matter of time. When the folks running these events are donating their time, patience... patience.
I think I know who the tickets are for, but once again, let Ed tell the tale!
He is correct when he saying DVSFIII will make I & II look like a warm up act. If you haven't already done so, get your plane tickets, reservations, arrange to get your car here, get out to the garage and get it ready! I live in Columbus and I am thinking of getting a hotel room just so I can be closer to the action!
Is it spring yet? (for those of you that will be tempted to tell me how beautiful the weather is where you live, you can kiss my a$$ in advance

Sorry buddy, I won't kiss your butt, but...
We live along what is known as the Blossom Trail just outside of Fresno, so named because of the blooming fruit tree displays. Every Sunday morning, we get to hear dozens of Hogs and a few other bikes doing there herding thing along the Trail. It is beautiful this time of year--except for the bees slamming into whatever you're driving.
The days are clearing, so you see the multicolored orchards with the snow capped Sierras as background.
Yup--it's Springtime!

That is just not right!
OK Jamo. Most of us here have seen your butt so don't expect any offers either
Lets see, you are between cars...... right? Bumming a ride from Turk?
On a serious note. We have already told the kids once they move their behinds off to college, all bets are off! We are going where the weather is nice year round. Jamo, is that house for sale up the street from you sold yet!!!!!!!

He is NOT bumming a ride from Turk. We are in the same boat on this one, even if the boat is leaning to the port side.
TURK
I hate it when only some of the trees blossom and the rest have to wait until the middle of March. Don't you Jamo?
Did I leave my shorts in your car?
