Yep...same group of marketing people trying to find ways to sell CSX4000's and 100K Resto Mod 67 Mustangs. I laugh every time I see them as the group is local to us here in Dallas and just the name of the company brings a sour taste to most of the local TCC group. Here is a company that put on a "charity" event asking for local support inviting all Shelby's, Shelby clones, Panteras, and all Mustangs...BUT no Cobra replicas at all. The TCC alone could have brought enough cars to equal the turnout of what showed up. The event was mostly a flop from what I heard and the bad taste left from this event has never gone away. Was told by an reliable source that it was not the company decision to ban the replicas and that the owner felt bad about it and understood the feelings of the local TCC and was thinking about some sort of peace offering to make it right...which by the way never happened....but then again for me personally it made me give the owner the benefit of the doubt and thought it was a nice jester. Now lets fast forward a year or so to the Dallas Autorama where this company had their cars in the show. Very reliable information was that the owner went absolutely ballistic when he got beat out by local TCC member in the Cobra class. I laughed so hard I thought I would cry. So in my opinion and everyone is entitled to one this just washed away ANY good feelings toward this company and its directors. What I speak is the truth but I will not mention any names as the local TCC group is well known for it's support of events in this area. I think I've said enough .
