LCS special guests
As you all know, Bob Johnson of Shelby racing fame (as well as other marks!) is joining us at the London Cobra Show. Saturday nights 'one on one' with Bob back at the hotels is certainly a 'can't miss' event. But now, more are joining the crowd and this is turning into a regular Bob Johnson roast!
Peter Brock, JP and Frank all met up at Mid-Ohio this past weekend. Peter was kind enough to record on video about Bob and the Shelby days. Peter would have loved to join us in London this year but we just got to him after his schedule was already filled (Pikes Peak I beleive). But now next year........  Peter's video will be played for Bob and for the participants on Saturday night. Should be very entertaining. And don't tell Bob, it is a suprise!
We are in contact with a number of the other racing greats from the team and we are looking for involvement in one way or another this year and hopefully finding an opening in their schedule next year! We would love to have a reunion of sorts for them next year. And from what I am hearing, they are pretty excited about the idea themselves!
My appologies up front on this one, I don't have the gentlemans name in front of me, but the curator of the museum that owns Bob's Coupe, Cobra and Vette is coming to 'MC' the event. He had hoped the cars would be finished being restored and he could bring them to reunite Bob with his cars but they will not be done in time. We are really happy to have him join us and help us all learn and relive some of racing all time glory days.
32 days left to get to London!

Ding, ding, ding..... we have a winner
I was waiting for someone to ask me that! But I don't really have a good answer. I recall the qoute from some comedian some time ago and it just seemed to fit my mood at the time. I promise by the time LCS rolls around, I will have a better idea.
Just as a teaser............... Gurney and Bondurant have been talked to as well

I just heard from Dan Gurneys office as well!!!! Looks like Dan is going to do the same thing as Peter Brock for Bob and us at the LCS!!!

Holy Smokes!
For the LCS...I've attended every meeting...made hundreds of phone calls...driven thousands of miles....lost weeks of sleep......spent my life savings.....walked barefoot...uphill both ways....
...then I leave town for a week and return to find that you guys have been talking to Dan Gurney, Peter Brock, Bob Johnson, Bob Bondurant, .... awhhh dang!! I always miss out on the good stuff!!

Love him or hate him. Agree or disagree......... here is Brock and JP (by the way, that was JP I was talking about, Brock is a nice guy   ) hooking up for the video for the London Cobra Show.

Just keeps getting better and better
Carroll Shelby wishes us well! And to top it off, is sending 10-20 pictures of Bob Johnson racing back in the day and is autographing them! Since Bob will be there in person, I would imagine you could get him to autograph them also, if you are one of the lucky ones to get a picture!
Bob Bondurant is now definiatly sending some video to go along with the Bob Roast.
Chad Stuer will be bringing trophys and such from Bob's Career and some great vintage video to watch as well.
Dan Gurneys office promised that they would do what they can on such a short notice.......
The other half of the 'band-aid kids', Johnson and Johnson, will be with us on Saturday night, in person.
All of them have asked about next year. So guess what that could mean?????
