WSCB a huge success! Thanks Duane!
Many Cobras, several GT40's, a new GT, several originals including the flip top and dragon snake. Nothing but fun so far! Thanks Duane!

Here's a picture of a young man who was so excited by my referring to him as the next generation of Gashole, that he decided to jump around like a crazy man....Jamo's car looks nice next to the flailing limbs....eeeewwww did that kick leave a dent?

The the better halves. Sherrie Mills/Brenda Hamilton/Penny Toth, who all made the super long trek in the Cobras from Washington state to Reno.

Thanks and Feedback so far...
We can't begin to express how appreciative we are about all the great feedback coming in from WSCB 2005 attendees. Additionally, a special big THANKS to those who drove from afar (Canada, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Oklahoma, Arizona, Southern California) Wow!
It was over the top. More cars and interest than we ever expected. The people, Corral, lighting, music, Hospitiality Suite, awards of appreciation, track-time, the Drive, and just hangin out and meeting everyone was great! Reno channel 2 and channel 9 interviews, videography, photography and all going on... The only thing that did not work out too well (sucked) was the food at the BBQ. We know and we'll fix that next year for sure! The DVD and Photo CD will be coming out within 60 days from the videographer and still photographer.
Thank You to the WSCB Crew too!
Bob Haustein (Stroker Bob) / Helper on Many things
Linda Haustein / Registrations & Treasury
Alan Haynes (Photoguy) / arranging of photography & filming
Marc Wallior (SkidMarc) & Don Depontee / Drive planning
Ericka Harris, Elaine, Sue / Corral help & check-in
Planning for 2006 is already in progress. Hehehe

Beyond GREAT !! Especially meeting so many really nice cobra folks- The Saturday drive-perfect, the weather turned out great (AFTER THURSDAY !!!) , the cars- nothing better. Duane, you've committed yourself to many years indentured servitude !!!!!!!!
Thanks to you, Brent, and all the event organizers. If you need help with next year, I'll be happy to do whatever I can. Oh--the Peppermill is a great location !!
A few suggestions:
1. An organized dinner,-- or two
2.More track time :-) !!!
3.Mabe a picnic type thing for the road trip.
4.A charter member or first timer badge
5.Invite some of the local press or TV people on the drive
Again, many thanks to all of the staff !! I can hardly wait till next year !
Larry G.

Larry,
THANKS! Those are some really great suggestions. I like the idea of the "Charter Member" too. I was trying to figure out how to reward the first years attendee/members and will see how we can do that. Maybe we could do special long-sleeve button up shirts like we had on for all charter members or something. Hmmm.
All of your other suggestions (1-5) are very helpful and consistent with what some of the others are saying so far. Please send me an email with those too, okay. I'm bringing everyone's follow-up feedback and suggestions to our Thursday night DeBrief DeBash meeting this week while its still fresh in our memory. Thanks again.

Duane,
I've seen coverage of this on 3 different forums now........Unique, Gasholes, and, of course, here.
The pictures have been great. The comments are unanimous. You did good!

Well, If I was half as smart as this computer I'd be able to figure out how to post this photo in the message BUT.....
Follow the link for a picture of the group that left from Grass Valley enroute to the '05 WSCB. Short "pit stop" at the half way point.
Is that SNOW????????

Next year if I have to hitch a ride!

Duane and the rest of the CobraBash staff- looks like a great time was had by all. Great job putting all that together! I can't wait to hear what is in store for next year. Always a few wrinkles to straighten out on the first go around, only makes it better the next time. Fantastic job, I am glad to hear everyone had fun. Thanks to everyone who took pictures and have posted them here.

ERA at the WSCB
ERA 002 and 629 side by side in the corral at the Peppermill in Reno. This was our first Cobra gathering and we had a great time. I have been talking up the event here in Idaho and next year there will be at least 3 new attendees. Duane and his gang did a great job. Many thanks to each of you.

Duane and crew- You guys did a great job putting this event together. I'm just glad that I was able to attend the 1st Annual event and I am looking forward to the years in the future that we can all get togther in such a wonderful atmosphere. The timing was great, the host hotel/casino was great (except for the tight slots & video poker), all the Cobra people were great (even patata-patata-patata-patata) and you and your staff were beyond great. I like the fact that you incorporated the parade laps in to the cruise event. I heard some people say that they would possibly like a little more track time next time. And poor Skidmarc needs a little help and direction with the Poker Run portion of the event. I stll like the idea of a small WSCB logo being placed next to the little yellow trophy and little blue camera in the username area signifying attendance to the WSCB. I asked Brent about it and he said he would see what he could do. My wife and I had a blast meeting lots of new friends and seeing others that we had met before. See you guys next time at the Snakes To The Lake season closer!!!

WSCB
The WSCB Bash was a great success.
Duane and his crew did a superb job, I cannot imagine how much time and effort went into thinking, planning and working to get it all to happen. It is people like Duane around the many regions of the country that make Club Cobra such a great "lifestyle" for the rest of us. A heartfelt vote of appreciation.
The DVD and Photos should remain and maybe bring in the local TV, invite Speed channel and some Auto magazines.
Maybe even a visit to the famous Harrahs Auto Museum could be a future event on Friday.
It will draw wider support next year.
John Place.
