Default April Breakfast this Saturday

Since no one is making a recommendation….How about the “Purple Place” at 9:00. If it’s a nice day, parking will be at a premium by 9:30 or 10:00.

Dan L. I know you go there, is that about right?

Randy and Max will be there. Emily has GATE testing at 9am (school around the corner from Purple Place) so will see you later; may join for a drive if there is one.

Default Norcal cobra's ((( APRIL 2010 )))

Hi Guys,
Purple place is a great choice for the April get together. 9am is a good time but if the weather is awesome and the weather man says it will be 75 degree Saturday you better get there early if you want parking right out front. Other groups meet at P.P. too. As for a drive will have to see what folks want to do. We could do the run some of us did 3-4 weeks ago backwards or once we get to Plymoth head up into the Shenandoah valley and stop at some wineries maybe do the Fairplay loop. Weather should be perfect for a drive so we gotta do a run. I'd love to take everyone up into the higher elevation after passing through the Shanendoah valley up into Pollock Pines but I'm affraid we get into snow country. It's been snowing up their past few days. I was in Pollock about a month ago in the Cobra's and there was snow on the ground at the gas station at HWY50/Pollock Pines exit. After all these storms passed through past few days it might be pretty brisk in a Cobra but I'm game if everyone else is. Karen and Dan plan to be at Purple Place see you there....

Tracy went to Purple Place this past Sunday at 9am and she said it was packed. Only bar seating available. And that was on a cold day. I would think the bikers will be out too with the good forecast. So just be prepared. See you guys there.

Sorry, we will be at the National Street Rod Association's Apprecitation Day in Lathrop this Saturday with the 57 T-Bird.

Danny is right about the PP on one of the first nice Saturdays of the year. Hikers, Bicycle riders and nasty bikers (like Tom) all show up for breakfast.

Thank You

Ray,

The address is 363 Green Valley Road, El Dorado Hills. The easiest way from Jackson is probably Hwy 49 to Hwy 16. West on 16 and then make a right on Latrobe Rd. That will turn into El Dorado Hills Blvd after you go under Hwy 50. Just go straight until you hit Green Valley Rd, Make a left and it'll be about a mile on your right.

You guys have fun. Believe it or not I got a new job in Utah and we moved out here about a week ago. It's nice to be back in my home state. Been wanting to get back for a few years. Some guys from the Utah Cobra Club even came over to help unload the moving truck.

Hope you guys will continue the toy drive in December.

Take care,
Justin

Hey Justin,

That's great. Are you still with AT&T or did you have to leave the company? I know we don't have much of a presence there.

I'll be heading through the southern portion of Utah in July on my way to Michigan.

Gald you were able to make the move.

Keep in touch.

Danny

I am now working for Integra Telecom in Salt Lake City, doing design in the provisioning center. So far it's pretty cool.

Happy for you and your family Justin, but as Maurice has stated - you will have to coordinate the Toy Run remotely.

Good luck to you and your family.

Default Norcal Cobras

Thanks Tom for calling in the head count. 10 people is a pretty small number of heads so they should be able to handle only 10 people just fine Saturday morning. yet this thread has had 368 hits
