next event/GTG
Well, hopefully by Cobra will be here before Father's Day. I have a Offroad Race in Reno that weekend, but after that, I'll be looking for something to go to! Anything coming up?

Bandito
Just got a look at your BDR over on the other thread. Holy smoke! What a beauty! I'd love to see her up close.
Our next scheduled get together will probably be our usual 3rd Saturday breakfast on the 19th...time and location to be determined. Keep watching the NorCal Cobras Club Forum.

Early Toast in Folsom - June 19th
Hey Jim,
Dan and I were chatting this evening after their group winery run today. He noted no postings yet this month for next Saturday. Seems this typically occurs during the hotter and vacation summer months of the year. With it starting to get hotter now, we thought perhaps one of us could come up with a different place and to eat earlier, like 9am, before the heat sets in. Got any other ideas?
Sometimes the motorcycle dual sport club meets and begins over at Early Toast in Folsom since there is a Starbucks and Gas station all right in the same place... Also, Green Valley Road is right there for a run up/back or something... I've been meaing to mention it. Getting in/out for food will be on a table by table basis, but the foods pretty decent, and we can park all around in there where other businesses are not open.
Just thought I'd poke a different idea out there other than Mels.
How About?
Early Toast
Saturday June 19th
09:00 AM
General Seating (non-reserved)
25075 Blue Ravine Road
Folsom, CA 95630-5704
New Raleys Shopping Center
Early Toast in Folsom
...or any other better ideas ???, just getting something going.

Duane...no reason to close this one because of one post (or the others where he's posted).
A more global solution has been found.

Perhaps I missed something but I think this thread was started last month and refers to last months breakfast.
Or I am wrong!
Has someone decided on a place for this Saturday?

Hi Ray, nobody chimed in this month to schedule a meetup... Dan and I were chatting about it last night and folks typically lay low in the heat. I can't always make it but someone typically chimes in or asks by Thursday/Friday. Here is a tip, I bet if you make a post on this forum, title it "NorCal Saturday Breakfast - July 17?", someone will chime in and reply for at least a quick breakfast meetup. For better success, maybe even suggest a place not to far out and not too late, by 08:30/9am, before the heat seats in. Try it.

That's me...... picking up the trailer on Saturday morning, packing up, and heading for the coast for a week. May be next month if it cools down (yeah, I'm a puss - but not a sticky - sweaty one )

Phil,
Does that "trailer" mean car trailer and headed to the coast with Cobra in tow or camping trailer?
i.e. we did So Oregon last week. It was nice to be in cool sea breeze...

I would prefer a car trailer, but it is too challenging to fit a weeks worth of Sandy's necessities and the dog into that combo..... so it is a travel trailer

Phil,
See if you can stuff some of that cool coastal weather into the trailer and bring it back to the valley!

So Oregon is really nice this time of year - and very wet the rest of the year. We spent the better part of May north and south Coos Bay.... we had a great time, but were ready to get home and dry out.
