Cul, it really is easy to plug a tire with the tire still on the car. Here, I fished out a photo of my back Yoko on my Cobra that I plugged a year or two ago -- less than 10 minutes work, and I did not take the wheel off the car. The hardest part is just muscling the plug tool through the tread. The plug kit that I took a shot of cost less than ten bucks. You really can't do it wrong. Give it a shot, you'll be glad you did.
