The weather report for the weekend doesn't look good. It looks like rain starting Friday and not letting up through the weekend.
Rain or Shine we will be there!

Thanks, Rodney. This is a rain or shine event and the kids are really counting on it. More later on Plan "B" if necessary......

Exclamation Plan "B" if needed

Memo to all of Santa's Helpers - Watching the weather tonight (which you can never count on being accurate until 6 hours before it happens), indicates there could be a possible break on Sunday. We have been extremely lucky the last two years slipping our Toy Run in between storms - maybe we will be lucky again.

However, this is a rain-or-shine Breakfast and Toy Run, so we have to make plans in the event it does rain. I spoke with my Sutter contact this afternoon about that possibility - I was told that if it does rain, we can either drop our delivery off in the front lobby, park in the back lot, and come inside the hospital - or park and carry our toys into the lobby. We will not be allowed upstairs, but possibly some kids will be allowed to come down. Granted, this isn't ideal, but it is about getting gifts to the kids - so pray for a break in the storms Sunday morning so we can arrive in our Cobras.

I haven't said this yet, so to all of you - Thank you for your time, energy, and gifts for all these kids who, through no fault of their own, have these terrible illnesses. You make one HUGE impression in their young lives.

Ron and I look forward to seeing you Sunday at Perko's Cafe (formerly Bradshaw's) near Hwy 50 and Bradshaw. The address is 9647 Micron Ave, Sacramento.

Thumbs up

Hey everyone!

Great response to the Call for Toys From the looks of things outside it is going to take a Christmas miracle tomorrow for the weather to change enough to accommodate our cars. But Hey - it will be the 3rd weekend of the month, we all get together for breakfast, and do a good thing in the process.

Looking forward to seeing everyone (don't forget those hats and antlers!)

THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU............ from the kids at Sutter Memorial Hospital.

You guys and gals are Awesome - with a capital "A" I know it wasn't ideal, but hey, we all had breakfast together just like any other 3rd weekend of the month.... but with a little twist. Some of you drove a ways for a great cause. And all of you did a very, very good thing today and I am confident it will brighten the spirits of the children having to spend Christmas in the hospital.

Pat yourself on the back - Great Job NorCal Cobras. I'm proud to know you folks!!! Merry Christmas, and see you next month.
