Warranty about to go out, simple drive the living sheet out of it, I am talking 6K rpm shifts (50 times), hard pulls through 4th gear 5th if you have the balls (50 times). If it dont break, it aint going to, if it does then you are covered. If you are afraid to push it, call me and fly me out there, I have no heartburn doing. You paid for it, USE IT!!!!!!!

Have 8500 miles with other small troubles but I wish Roush would get their act together 'cause in a few months the warranty is up. Other than that I'm happy as a toad! 209

Default HeadER gaskets... not headgaskets

Maxx.. in complete agreement on your HAND BUILT cars...

Assuming we're even speaking the same language.. On the HEADER gaskets, not head gaskets. YES.. Machined surface on the header. As a matter of fact, on the 402 headers (AFR port) from SPF, they were not coming in strait and I was having them milled myself, at no cost to the customer (machined surface). We've all heard of thermal expansion.. well most of us anyways. I am not new to this subject, and there is no need for an exhaust gasket. A thin coat of high temp Permatex does the trick, I know this from experience. In my personal opinion, having the gasket... heat expansion, cooling contraction, and someone continually cranking down on header bolts to keep them tight.. the flange ends up becoming warped. Just my opinion...

Its no wonder I don't frequent these sites often......
