Default Five car WSCG display at 2011 Sacramento Autorama

FYI to NorCal, Bay Area, or Central Valley CC members:

To anyone here who might be interested, five us are doing a Western States Cobra Group (non-show, non-judged) indoor reference display at the 2011 Sacramento Autorama this year. If you are a CC member and thinking of checking out the show this year, some of us will be meeting up at 6pm on Saturday evening for a group photo, and to say hello to anyone who might be there later Saturday. Here is the tribute lineup of cars we'll have on display at one of the buildings:

289 Slabside/Flat Fender (JCF)
FIA Cobra (ERA)
427 SC (ERA)
Daytona Coupe (Lesher Motorsports)
GT40 (CAV/Shelby)

Maybe we'll see a few of you there.

That 427 SC (ERA) car wouldn't be a freshly painted blue, would it?

I'll try and make it down Saturday.

That's the plan Phil. Still puttin' it together and getting closer bit by bit. Feels weird looking at it in a different color now just sitting in the garage. Rivet-on hood scoop, the carpet, interior, seats all went back in this past weekend. About 95% back together, and now the time consuming cleanup part begins... We'll see you there!

SHOW DAYS: February 11-13

WSCG meetup: Saturday February 12th 6pm, at the cars (say hello!)

SPOT CHANGES:
I just received a call from the promoter today. We have been chosen to move the WSCG group 5-car display into the main building now. I'm told we'll now be in Building B, lower floor; island format, viewable on all four sides. They said they want to film the cars too, not sure what this entails or for what yet.

SETUP NIGHT: Wednesday February 9th, 6pm-9pm. We now enter and setup on Wednesday night instead in Building A/B, etc.

See you there Saturday night Ed & all.

These will probably be the only cars there that could legitimately show up with bugs and chips on them and get away with it.

Maybe we'll see some CC members over there Saturday night at 6pm, 'eh?

Group Photo:
Photoguy will be there on Wednesday night for our setup and hopefully Saturday night too taking photos, and I thought it would be kind of cool if any members and friends are there we can have everyone stand behind the cars and take a WSCG / NorCal group photo. I heard Ken Pike and his whole crew might be there if anyone wants to drop by and say hello to the guys and the man himself. He's had many of his painted cars at Autorama over the years as most around here well know

Al,
Here ya go. Just a few pre-show pics on setup night before cleanup. The lighting was terrible when these shots were taken, and they look a little better in person with more lights now, but this gives an idea.
