Tom,

Why don't you sell the cobra and buy a corvette. You will fit in better with those guys. Your attitude is not what we want at Club Cobra.

I maybe out of line here but as a newbie and in the hopes of getting more newbies could everyone go back and delete their entries. I hope we would not want others to see the factions we have going on here. Let's try to keep personal feeling in private emails.

As a prior family counselor I observed group dynamics can be difficult and fragile to keep them together.

By the way, now that the other problem has been resolved, I just want to say two things:

1. Pat is indeed a dick.

2. How come you basturds never invite me to your super secret get togethers? Hurts my feelings.

...just sayin

Hray,

This thread may have you wondering a bit about the NorCal Cobras. I invited myself to one of the small NorCal events a few years back. We didn't have the Northbay group established yet and I wanted to get to know a few Cobra folks. A weekend in the Sierras sounded nice. I didn't know anyone. Pat started the event. A very casual meetup. I had 3 great days with these folks. They welcomed me with open arms and I had a very nice time. I met Pat, Jamo, Duane, Hoppy, and several others. All of them made me feel very welcome.

Hmmm, on second thought, that reads like a paid ad. I should add that they are a bunch of Gasholes (gasholes.com).

Hey Paul,

I agree with you on both counts!

I too have a LA Exotics and still can't find my frame number for identification. I called B&B several times and I need this number for them to "maybe" give me some information about my car. Do you know where it/yours is??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

John

John,

I don't recall ever seeing a frame number stamped anywhere. I just looked around and didn't see anything. The only I.D. I have is the CAxxxxxx the CHP put on the firewall and the BAR sticker.

I do know that on the nose between the hood and the front opening, I have "#85" painted on the underside of the fiberglass.

Paul,

Same here, all I could find was that body number in the same location. Mine is #010. I don't know if that is a production number or not.

Thanks for the response.

John

If you are referring to the trip to Murphy's, you are right on - that was a blast! In the fall near Halloween, Pat's car had to be towed, had a great dinner, good/fun conversations, nearly had a brawl in the bar with the locals, and it rained.

That is what memories are made of - When are we doing that again?

That's the one. Pulling the valve covers off Pat's motor in the middle of nowhere. Pissing in the great outdoors. Drinking Hoppy's fine bourbon. The dinners. Great people, good times.

I think I listed that in reverse order of fun, or, maybe not.
