Congratulations on finding an Arntz car. Yes, they were built mostly with Chevy Power or at least the 10 or so I've seen so far myself. Try not to let that aspect bother you, it was done that way with Treco on purpose originally, to compete against the Ford powered setups. Some changed them over to Fords later, but be aware of the Chevy history too. Some of us have spent too much time on these cars already around here and continue to do so . As PGermond said, we have a few friends (Alan and Gary) around here with them. There is a lot of history around the Arntz/Butler/Bennett cars in our area too, and various upgrades you'll see that can be done should you choose to go that route with yours. As for the rollbar, you will want to see Photoguy/Alans car for sure, it was not a simple add but it can be done. Right now he has his car pretty much ripped apart prepping for body/repaint, so it would be a good time to see it on jacks.
