Hey Phil,
All quiet on the western front... I was hoping for a drive on Saturday, but you know how the weather was. I did manage to find time for a nice one in on Thursday though. Other than that It has just been transplanting bulbs and spraying weeds. I am hoping for good weather on the 21st. Will you be there?
Bob

Hey Guys,
Pretty calm on Flowers st., darn it I did 2 20 minute sessions in the sun awhile back and the results lasted about a week, ha
Spring is a great time for everyone to get in the mood for a great outing. I`m sure the next couple of months will be wild.
Love and Peace to all

Bob - I plan on attending the 21st unless something unforeseen pops up.
Maurice - I finally got my brake situation squared away... I've been driving without rear brakes for too long. I figured out why the m/c wouldn't hold fluid - discovered the brake line had been rubbing between the header and frame. When the engine rocks (like it tends to do when I jump on it) it wore a pin size hole in the line. While I had it on stands after replacing the break line I changed the oil, hydraulic fluid, and differential. Now I just need to wipe it down underneath and I'll be ready for some spring weather and driving!

Hello to all the NorCal members!
I'm waiting for the arrival of a new Backdraft just purchased from Vintage Motorsports -- probably in early May -- and will look forward to great times with the group once my car arrives.
In the meanwhile, it's continue on in the NSX when weather permits.
Are there any other members in the Auburn/foothills area?

Wasn't quiet at my place near Santa Cruz... I took the glass packs off so I could climb under my FIA, and then had some tuning that I wanted to do...
...met the neighbors.

Hey There. With the recent flurry of much needed rain every few days, seems most have been staying indoors or doing other "winter" things like its mid February. A nice day here and there for those who are retired but the rest of us working stiffs have to wait for a nice weekend to get the cars out. I'll be doing some work on mine soon. Having it sit is not so great for the gaskets that contain fluids. Probably need to pull the intake on mine, just no motivation right now to spend a weekend doing that until it warms up a little more.

I took up playing golf.........
Am thinking that an 1100cc bike engine would wake up the golf cart. Hmmm

Pat,
Will the bike engine speed up your game or just make it more fun from hole to hole? OMG, what did I just ask?

Clayboy Bob mentioned something earlier about "there" is where he and Phil are meeting on the 21st. If I had to guess, they will probably meet there at 09:30am or so and start eating by 10:00am. If I get motivated and find a battery for my car and the small coolant leak, and fix it, I will go there too.

John,
I don't believe it has been decided where "there" is at this point.... someone will post a suggestion soon, I'm sure. Hopefully the weather will cooperate so we can all meet there for breakfast.

Well,
I should be joining in on all the fun again pretty soon.
The motor is in, wired, plumbed, and the exhaust is on....except for the silencers, which I sent back to the powdercoaters to be refinished. They should be ready any day.
Bled the clutch at about 1 am last night.
Real tempted to start it up without the mufflers this weekend.
Have a current temp op permit..., so I'll probably arrange insurance next week.
Of course...I have to work on the 21st...figures.

In my opinion you commit an error. Let's discuss it.
