Remember the CHP uses Radar extensively in the foothills, lets not unnecessarily contribute to there funding, as some have in the past..... .
The turnout looks to be very good so far, do we have parking and an ongoing headcount for the restaurant?

Thanks for the heads-up Rick. We will have to keep that in mind.
See you on Saturday.

Phil,
Have you found out what the tab is going to be yet? Remember, when you get the amount from the courts you still have to add the cost of traffic school... Ouch! That's gotta hurt!

Sounds like a great idea Rick... why don't you make the call. Tell them there will be donuts.

Thanks guys. Haven't gotten the bad news yet, and I'm not looking forward to it.

Yes, very large parking lot out back, fits up to 140 cars during the shows they host there. We are holding at 25 headcount for the restaurant breakfast. I have to call them again Thursday with the final number so they can plan to staff accordingly for outside dining.

Guys, I 'm really bummed, but I'm out.
I've gotta get the car corner-balanced and aligned, and it looks like Saturday is going to be it.
Have yourselves a ball!!

Bob,
Cynthia and I would like to meet up with you , and the group coming from Sac/ ElDorado for the ride to Murphy's. But I'm Not clear where Your meeting the group. Is there a name of a business. Is the location at the intersection of Hwy 88 and 49. Is that on the corner where the Elks lodges and Les Schwab's Tire is. Sorry I'm hard headed but I'm having trouble understanding the spot you will be. Were you planning on being there before 9am.
Thanks hope to see you there.

No need for corner balancing and scaling this weekend at the slightly under speed limits we'll be driving. Seriously, you've got all winter and three other weekends a month for that kind of fine tuning stuff! Your gonna miss our yearly September meetup and it only comes once a year. Get it out and drive it while the weather is great. Just sayin'.

QUESTION -
Same as we did five years ago...after breakfast at Murphys Historic Hotel, we can run down the road a few miles to Ironstone Winery if anyone is interested?
Its always fun to see the old Pizza-n-Pipes pipe organ they acquired and the large piece of gold display. They normally require a tour, and we can set something up or just pop in and check out the grounds if it makes sense.

Duane,
I really am bummed.
I've been trying to get this done for a while now, and Saturday is likely the only chance I'll have for some time to come. The car is quite a handful if there is any moisture on the road at all, and I'm trying to get it ready to check off something on my bucket list....
Open track day in a GT40 at Laguna Seca (fingers crossed for November).
