Best of times to wind down the Cobra 'season'! Great cars, people and of course the stories.
Bob and helpers, thanks for hosting the breakfast...well worth the drive from Modesto!

What did the final head count turn out to be? It had the appearance like it was going to be one of the best attended get togethers we've had?

Hi Rick, 36 of 44 showed up for breakfast and a few extras before and afterwards. I think there were fewer cars than last year, but plenty for sure. Actually, it turned out really good. Some had entered cars in another event the same weekend. We had a really great mix of folks from the Bay area, NorCal, and Central Valley attend. There was a chance to address the whole group. Lots of questions about reassembling a larger meet up in the near future.
All three groups discussed doing something all together in a larger group setting, possibly an overnighter with a very cool car shop stop among other things. We have everyone's email address now, so we are loosely putting together a group that can sort of meet and join up at each of the regions sort of rotating around a bit in the future. Nothing solid yet, but some great ideas coming in from the group who met this past weekend.

Jeff and all the folks that drove up from Modesto and points west... thanks for showing up! Like all these events, the more the merrier. November is as of yet undecided, but if you bundle up and can endure the cold weather it's always time to hit the road and drive the cobras. It's part of the California experience... put on lots of warm clothes and drive it like it's a rental. Maybe Rick can join us next time. Remember, in the winter it's got to be a fur lined jock strap!

Bob,
Thanks for asking. I sure wanted to be there. Sounds like everyone had a great time in Ione. Looking forward to joining future get togethers.

Jim,
I know that with all your interests you have lots of demands on your time, but sometime the cobra needs to be driven too. LOL Catch you on another Saturday.

Not a total Loss
I sounds like you all had a great time. Wish I could have been there.
However, I can't say the weekend was a total loss:
Sacramento International Auto Show | KTXL FOX40
BTW, Samantha, who I borrowed from the FIAT booth, was very kind to pose with my car.

Thanks, Maurice.
Actually, the most fun was letting some kids sit in the car and make "vrooom vrooom" noises.
