Default Third Saturday Breakfast 2/16/13

Just figured out the third Saturday is this weekend.

Weather forecast looks very good.

Anyone up for breakfast this Saturday?

I don't know about the third Saturday thing, but if the weather's good, I haven't been to the airport cafe in Half Moon Bay in a while. Really good food and not too treacherous if not perfectly dry. : Rich

Half Moon bay could be interesting.

Was thinking about somewhere closer to Sacramento, perhaps Mel's in Folsom or maybe Bert's Dinner in Shelton.

Open for ideas.

69 degrees in Sacramento is 59 in SF adn 50 to 54 on the Ocean. Good run with a little more 'spring' weather. Mel's in Folsom works for me.

Good going. Sounds like you guys have a plan for Mels.

I was just chatting with a few of the regulars and nobody had anything specific in mind for this month so its a good thing you posted. I do know of just a few others will have cars out at Autorama this weekend, etc. I'm sure you'll pick up a few more for breakfast before Saturday. If I can get away, I'll be there Sat; not sure yet. As for next month, If its not raining in March, some of the Central Valley guys called asking if we can do another big meetup. Maybe some of you guys can brainstorm Saturday about March planning too. I'm sure they will want to meet somewhere between Sac and Central Valley for March. Delta River run maybe?

How about 9:30 at Mel's in Folsom.

Hopefully that is not too early for everyone.

Murray, Lisa is wondering if your wife is planning to attend.

I'm bummed... great driving weather and I won't be able to make it. My car isn't drivable at the moment. I am in the process of swapping the original Superformance fuel cap for a billet Kirkham roller cap. The part that I am having machined to complete the swap won't be done until Tuesday. You guys have a great time.

I thought 9:30 due to temperature and some who believe any earlier is the middle of the night.

Personally 9 AM is fine since I have about 2 miles to drive.

Should we say 9 AM at Mel's?

There is always one around. I loved it when he said..."I saw it." (yeah, sure ) "It's O.K. anyway, I've got full coverage insurance"
What a tool...

Other than that it was a great breakfast... let's hope for good weather next month.

Good to see everyone this morning. I got home without any further transmission incidents. I need to get it in the air and take a look at the linkage. I'm thinking after I put the tranny back in something might have worked loose and is binding up..... we'll see.

Won't be able to make it next month.... that salty sea breeze is calling.

What a great day! Touching base with the 'Cobra guys' at Mel's for breakfast and then a run across the dam and up Salmon Falls road to 49. Marty and i turned left towards Auburn and dutifully addresssed the hairpins down to the South fork and hairpins up to Auburn and Auburn-Folsom road home. Doesn't get much better.
