Default So...it's almost the 3rd Saturday...

I know it will be hot later in the day, but does anyone want to get together for breakfast or coffee? I don't have any original ideas where, although there is always Mels or Starbucks on Fair Oaks where we have been before. We have new guys wanting to meet everyone, so any thoughts???

Mels, or any other place sounds good to me. The Starbuck you mentioned has been closed for a while.

Maurice-Mel's in Folsom it is then. See you there around 8? I'm pretty sure 2- or 3 others from around here will be there, too. Let's hope some of the new guys can make it, also.

I made a promise to my daughter, so I won't be able to make it (again). Maybe the next Saturday when the weather is decent I'll try and get a few cars out. You guys have fun....

Thanks for stepping up Steve... I'll meet you guys at Mel's at 8. An early, cool drive and then a dash home to beat the heat.

Gotta Work.........my weekend in the trenches. Summer is a difficult time for us in the Auto industry. We are forced to help all the women and girls that are often short on clothing due to exhaustive heat and are looking for new cars. Very difficult but someone has to do it........some call them shopping clothes.

Rick,
With the heat tomorrow it should be a tough one for you... how low can that interest rate go... if you know what I mean. Catch you next time.

Thanks for setting it up, Steve.

It was especially good seeing two of my old friends for the first time in two years.

I will check the availability of dinner at Teressa`s soon and start a new thread.

Dang! Missed another one. This is maddening. All the things I love to do, seem to happen at the same time. Oh well, maybe next time. C.U. guys soon.

You and I both Jim. After the heat lets up, I'm looking forward to the Sept/Oct monthly NorCal breakfast meet-ups. Did 800 miles this past weekend on the bikes up and down CA-1 and across the valleys with stops at Moto-GP Laguna Seca Monterey for the races. Saturday evening at Cannery Row was amazing for motorcycle finatics - all streets were blocked off. Bikes of all types and ages were lined up on both sides, end to end as far as one can see. 54-68 degrees, wonderful. See you guys in Sept/Oct when it starts to cool off again.
